BIGTIME red flag right there! lolYup he told me he had a guy who just put a sticker on it
Rgr. Also, given the mods, trying to put it through a drive cycle is likely a bad idea right?
didn’t have OEM software installed when it was failing Cats, O2S, and HRT. Set the tune back to stock just to see if that changed anything and then it failed a bunch more too (pic above).
Why will scanning codes on the stock tune tell us if the custom tune had anything shut off? Do you mean run a readiness test on the stock tune? Thanksload the stock tune. scan for codes and post them up (no need to start it) . That'll tell us right away whether the custom tune had anything shut off.
Yes. If you can.Do you mean run a readiness test on the stock tune?
Fire it up, take it for a run. Nothing stupid though.
This is incorrect. As far as I am aware, every state allows at least one. Per the NY DMV site, you are allowed as many as two or as few as one depending on model year.NYS inspection does not allow for any non ready monitors.
I used to have to swap out the stock downpipe on my 16 EB for every inspection.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what clears O2 heater. Sometimes they will clear on a cold start, sometimes they won't clear after 5 cold starts with short drives, but will at the end of a 20 mile drive.Drive like a grandma. You’ll need a cold start or 2 to clear O2 heater and EVAP as well.
