Hi all,
I’ve just installed my G2 Kit, my tuner sent me a million files for a base tune, every single file did not work. The car would start and then immediately die. Going to like 1k rpms.
i’ve swapped out to stock injectors, started it with stock tune and still does the same thing.
all vacuum lines and hoses are connected. I’m at a loss.

Who is your tuner? You shouldn't need a million base files with someone that is competent with the ESS platform. It took 1 single file to get mine dialed in. No changes needed.

Reach out to Wengard https://wengerdperformance.com/ He is the go to for tuning these ESS kits. He may even help you troubleshoot before you would purchase a tune from him. He gives that kind of service. His tunes are pretty spot on.

Can you hear the fuel pump priming?… possible you got a bad one out of the box.

You should probably start with a reputable tuner and go from there.

Vacuum leaks (if not the tune) can cause your symptoms

Also, the injector data for the ID1050XDS is not the same as the ID1050X, but Im sure your "tooner" already knows that

This... When I tried inputting the values from the XDS sheets into the tune, the values were too high to be accepted. I had to use the X data sheet. If he fudged the XDS values into the tune. It won't work. Need to use the X sheet.

FWIW a completely stock tune file with correct injector data will start up and idle with the ESS blower.

Well the only thing that sticks out to me as weird is the many many tune files you received.

You should receive 1 start up file. Maybe a second if a revision is needed.

If it doesn't start on the stock file with stock injectors, something was forgotten in the install
