You should be able to save your current tune as the stock tune. Take a look at Wengerd Performance. https://wengerdperformance.com Tell him your situation and see what he can do to help. Top notch service and will answer any questions you have upfront. There are a few other options out...
He does, it runs great. I'm lucky enough to have a e85 station down the road, but the 2 weeks i ran his Flex in my Mach it was on point. I've had a few s550's and a few different tuners and his Trans strategy is by far the best i've used on the 10r
Sorry, i don't have my car laptop with me at the moment to look, but i do remember having to select which OS i was using before it worked.
I will try to look later this evening for you.
Yes
Yes, but i believe i had to choose an option to select which OS. There were a few Ford ones for 18+ and one of them worked
Yes, emailed the stock tune to tuner
Yes, was able to just use the App on my iphone to install the tunes and datalog
Plug the RTD into a laptop and use VCM to pull your stock file. I had this pop up a few weeks ago as well and had to use the laptop to pull the stock file, then was able to use the RTD connected to my phone to tune and log.
Same as above. I had to use my laptop connected to the RTD3+ for the initial read after getting the same error. I've been able to use the app on my phone to load the tunes, log, etc after that one initial time having to use the laptop.
Weird electrical symptoms for sure, but look at the brightside. Put a turbo on your car and you already have a nice turbo timer in place to allow it to cool down.... lol
That is the the number 3 coil pack. Check/examine the wiring for the coil and or replace. You can also move the coil to another cylinder to see if the misfire follows is.
Can you confirm you have had your car above 80 mph when driving?? Maybe you have a speed limit setting in MyKey that is limiting to speed and in turn RPM... Just a thought as i read through this thread.
Sounds like the diverter valve might have an issue that you can now hear better with the cold air kit. Or could just be extra noise with the cold air now. My 3.5 Ecoboost SHO made waaaaay more turbo noises with a cold air than the factory box. Doesn't sound like that noise though which brings...
Could it just be the angle you have it installed at? Like adjust left or right to get the pony to center on the ground. It seems like that could be it based on your picture. I've never taken these out, but an aftermarket set i had in my 2014 years ago i had to spin it until i was happy with...
Get it up on a lift if you haven't already. This won't be covered by your warranty like mentioned above, but could be covered by your insurance if you needed to claim it. Just have someone you trust look it over. Doesn't have to be the dealer.
You'll be good. Just make sure to monitor the oil level more often so you know its at least registering on the dipstick. Go give it an italian tune up. I've sure she is begging for it.
I was expecting to see different pictures when you said here are our "BJ" pics... Joking aside, i hope you find what you are looking for. Those are some awesome pics you snapped. Thanks for sharing. If i see anything in my area, i will be sure to keep you in mind.
You say you have a 5.0 but your profile says ecoboost.... You realize if you have a 5.0 that you already have a car with street cred and tuning potential.... You also realize that at 19 your insurance is going to cost you as much as your car payment with one of those.. And i would be willing...
My daily is a 2018 SHO. I joke all the time that until i start to mod the Mach that this thing will blow its doors off from 0-80. lol It has an upgraded IC and tune from Gearhead. Its funny how fast this heavy girl is down low, but she loses a lot of her steam up top.
