Btw the stock DI injected coyotes should be fine on the factory pump and e85 N/A. I upgraded to 3/8 line all the way from the tank to the fuel rail which has eliminated any pressure drop at high RPMs.

isn't it a 3/8th line from the factory ? MIne is. But I have a 17.I upgraded to 3/8 line all the way from the tank to the fuel rail
Some of the connector lines neck down to 5/16. The hard line itself is 3/8. The connecting line from the firewall to the fuel rail is 5/16. I ran a 6an Teflon line with two 3/8 to 6an quick connectors to eliminate it. My car also had a piece of what looked like 5/16 hose under the car that I swapped for 3/8.isn't it a 3/8th line from the factory ? MIne is. But I have a 17.
That’s what I thought going into it but the math still works out to make it cheaper at those numbers for me. Maybe the factory fuel economy computer isn’t measure it correctly. I’ll have to do a full to empty measurement and calculate it myself.@sms2022 you’ll absolutely lose significant fuel economy with e85, 30-40% with no other changes. You can run more timing at part throttle which offsets it a little, and blends closer to 51% do better, but it’s still going to be a big hit.
Yes, cheaper for me as well because the cost difference more than offsets the change in mileage. That’s what I thought going into it but the math still works out to make it cheaper at those numbers for me. I don’t know, but here’s a pic of my intake ports on my 2019 Bullitt with 5962 miles on it, during which I also ran 5-6 tanks of 93 fuel. I don’t think it looks too bad at all in the ports. It would be interesting to see what the intake ports look like on a car that has been on nothing but 93 fuel. Surely there’s several people on here with their intake manifolds off that can take some pics and post them here.If that is true, why are there also videos about excess carbon build up on engine rebuilds after e85? Not arguing, trying to learn as much as I can here
Is your friend Shawn?I’m waiting to find out. He’s broken near everything except the motor. He’s expecting to do that this year lol he’s been working with ESS to find the limits of their products. Great guy
lol no. I hate that guy if we’re talking about the same one. Don’t want to spread my beef with him hereIs your friend Shawn?
Gotcha.. I just know he is from Indiana to and seems pretty close to the ESS people.. I've never seen him on here though, just the FB groups. I got no beef with anyone tho, lol.lol no. I hate that guy if we’re talking about the same one. Don’t want to spread my beef with him here
Our beef goes back to petty nonsense and I refuse to give people like him business. He sells ESS though. And fore fuel systems and tires. His car is fast though. He paid dealerships off to cover his transmission twice before he went another route. I believe somewhere between 1000-1100 to the wheels. Impressive numbers for sure.Gotcha.. That’s very clean! What fuel were you running there, Shell 93?This is about 5000 miles on just 93. It really depends a lot on the detergents in the gasoline. This is shell 93.
That YouTube “soot test” is a load of hooey.
