How much can you push out the engine before you start needing to upgrade internals, clutch, etc

Especially worried about the manual transmission as heard a lot of negative things about it

I don't have much knowledge on this subject, but from what I've seen 600+ hp is a good place to start. Of course it's never bad to just have the upgraded clutch, internals, ect.

Internals are still being pushed. Whipple just layed down 750ish on stock motor. Clutches seem to handle the typical bolt on power. Clutches fail rapidly at that 600+ mark once you have a power adder.
Trannys are hit and miss. If you no lift shift with good power it seems the guts grenade on some. But there are Plenty of FI cars with M6s pushing over 600rwhp with no issues.

Get half shafts, blowfish bracket, clutch, SS line and you should be good from all that I've read. Possibly a 1 peice DS. But the stock long block will handle what 99% of us will ever push it to.

I was only planning on a CAI, CatBack, Tune, few other minor mods such as Whiteline shifter support, BMR cradle lock out, I'm not going crazy with it

Then you're good lol. Id still get half shafts if you plan putting tire on it. They will snap at will on the M6 on stickies. I still plan getting a ss clutch line and blow fish bracket. Is the white line just an insert?

Yeah it's really cheap and does the same job as the blowfish bracket (all be it not as well) but it's a LOT cheaper

What's an M6? Sorry :)
