......But at the end of the day, being able to punch the 5.0 coyote when leaving the office and hearing the Corsa Extreme - well, it just makes the prior 8-10 hours melt away.
I think to myself, "I love this car" every time I push the start button and hear the engine roar to life. :D

Another daily driven base performance pack here with Recaros. 6'6 268 and the seats fit me like a glove-cant imagine not having them. Best advice regarding the seats is to sit in them before purchasing. The stock tires do wear fast- If I could do it all over again I would probably sell the stock wheels/tires for something else more suitable to daily driving. Since wearing out my stock tires, I added some Bridgestones and the tread life is noticeably better. Overall the brakes alone on the PP for me made the decision a no brainer - I initially drove both PP and non PP and Premium vs non premium GTs and all it took was one test drive in the PP to convince me I needed it. Good luck with your decision and just make sure at the end of the day you end up with the car you want and I highly recommend driving each option you're looking at.

Nothing like getting into a car that's fun to just drive at the end of the work day, is there?

And having to drive around back and down the side of your building 3 feet from the office windows with a cat-back exhaust holding rpms in 1st and 2nd gear because I don't give a damn.

I've been DD my '16 GT since January and have had an avg MPG of 16.1. It's better to than my previous DD by .5 mpg, so I'm loving that.

There have been times in my life where the daily commute was about 110 miles. At the time, I was driving a car that struggled to get much over 15 mpg on the highway (and usually didn't get quite that much). Except for when an ice storm snuck in during the day, the drive was nearly always enough fun to offset the time spent and the need to stop for gas every other day.

Pp tires suck you're lucky to get 10k from them. Auto's hold more power might be easier on daily drive to work plus tire wear.
PP tires (Pirelli P-Zero's) are horrible in terms of tread life, but it also depends on your road conditions and how you drive.

I just hit 10,000 miles and I live it NYC, and I still have some tread life. No burnouts, drifting, etc., just normal driving.

I actually don't mind the PZero's at all. Nice and sticky when warm. The only big issue I have with them is tread life, and any HiPo summer tire will have that to some degree. Ready for replacements now at 9K miles. Will still go summer, max performance, but probably Michelin PSS. Considering the BFG Comp Sport 2's as well.

The Recaro seats are insanely comfortable and you will regret them if you don't get it.
Without slamming the Recaros, the GT Premium seats are about the most comfortable car seats I have ever had.

If my car was a daily driver I would not have gotten the (leather) Recaros. $1,600 extra, to loose memory, heated, cooled & comfortable seats.
The premium leather seats with cooling are really awesome for hot southern weather.

The Recaros are actually comfortable, but not so much for getting in & out. Even though I'm 6' tall, I sit pretty close to the steering wheel, and its not optimal the way I have to sit down first then rotate my legs in.

Its the price I pay for a "track ready" car. I just need to get some break in miles on her now, so I'll be ready for the next HPDE that I want to go to and end of Oct.

Sold my 2013 RAM R/T since i had to have a truck for my job and driving 250 miles a week. That truck was trouble free and would get up and go for such a heavy truck.

I now only put on around 50 miles a week with my 2015 GT Prem. Love the car so far. Mods so far are tinted windows, Catback and K&N filter. Member from here is bringing me a set of PP 19" rims and tires so they will go on a week from now.

Next will be finding a good shop with a dyno to tune and do some other stuff in or close to the Tampa FL area.
