The product looks promising. Just name it anything but Mustang.
Calling any SUV a Mustang will dilute 55 years of heritage and damage the Mustang image & brand.
Save 55 years of Mustang Heritage.
The Mach-E looks to be a great product! BUT naming any SUV a Mustang is wrong.
“Putting the name Mustang on an all-wheel-drive, four-door crossover is insulting to the Mustang clubs and Mustang enthusiasts who’ve supported this product for more than five...
By Ford calling this new CUV a "Mustang" they are only diluting the Mustang brand.
It is a very short sighted Marketing ploy that will only hurt the purity of the Mustang brand.
I honestly can't believe the Ford executives are this short sighted.
For 56 years the Mustang has been a two door...
Just so you realize my 2016 GT gets worse gas (17-18mpg average) mileage then my 2018 F-150 SuperCrew 5.0L (20-22mpg average). Just saying...
Back to the post topic..
I think Ford is in danger of diluting the Mustang image. I think making a Mustang themed CUV isnt necessary. There is a huge...
Sorry to hear that.
Moral of story.....Do it right the first time. Don't be lazy.
The Oil Pump Gears are a very well documented weak link on the otherwise very strong & durable 5.0L.
Don't skip upgrading the OPG when installing a supercharger or turbo(s) on the 5.0L.
Rebuilding an engine (time...
Still loving the GT350R sway bars.
Randy Probst discussing the Performance Pack 2's
Front and rear anti-roll bars that resist twist by an additional 12 and 67 percent, respectively vs the PP1.
"The racer in me would put a little more front anti-roll bar in it, to tame a little too much...
I keep thinking of switching to 5w-30 from 5w-20.
I agree the slighlty thicker film of 5w-30 will help in the 100F heat in Texas. However, my one reservation with going with a thicker oil is that most of the wear on an engine occurs during cold starts. A thinner oil will help minimize this...
Haha. You need to do some research. BMW engines tend to have issues. The 4.0 V8 loves to eat its crankshaft bearings.
The N54 and N55 have there fair share of issues as well.
Read up....and you'll see that the 5.0L Coyote is a very solid engine compared to many BMW engines. Let's dont even...
+1
I've got the same combo. FRPP X-Pipe w/ Borla S-Type mufflers.
Great combo.
Nice and aggressive when you get on it. It's also so easy to modulate the sound. It can be quiet if you stay out of the throttle. Moderate acceleration (rpm) builds with a nice V8 burble. Really sounds...
I absolutely love the connection to the car that a manual transmission gives you. I hope Ford corrects the current issues of breaking shift forks on the '18 manuals.
The only way I could talk myself into the 10A is if I was taking it to the drag strip a couple times a month. The 10A and Coyote...
Never!
No manual transmission option.
No V8.
No Soul
No Heritage
I think the new Camry looks better.
No sale.
Don't believe the hype. The Mustang will be alive and well when everyone has long forgotten about the Stinger.
I'd have to buy a Camaro vs a Challenger. Couldn't do the Dodge thing.
I'm sure Ford will address the shift fork issue on the '18's. Remain calm.
The 5.0 Coyote is a really well designed engine.
I wouldn't lose faith in Ford so fast.
PS: Dodge isn't even an American company anymore...
