The Newer mustangs have a lot more sound control than a mid 60's car. So you'd need less, ^0's cars it was a jute pad under the carpet and that was it. oh, and thin cardboard door interior panels. lol.You must have really added a lot of deadener, and GTOs are quite large. I doubt I've even added 30 lbs to my Mustang. But even if it was 144 it would be worth it IMO for driving around on the street. And I doubt you would notice the weight in a car that's about 3800 already.
If you really want a light car, Mustang isn't a great choice anyway.
I can't say what I think about CAFE on here, but I bought a relatively big car with a V8, so you probably have an idea just based on my other actions.

My friend has a Genesis G70 as a daily driver and a Mustang GT as a weekend toy. Compared to his Mustang he describes the Genesis as more comfortable and refined, but still fun.I'm open to suspension mods that would make the ride smoother overall... Ultimately I just want it to be as comfortable to drive as possible, while still being fun.
Any ideas?
Steeda Subframe braces make a huge difference along with vertical links. All for less than $500. You'll feel the difference immediately.Speaking from experience as my 16 was my DD for a couple years (I no longer have to commute), vertical links helped cut down on inner wheel axle hop when I was taking sharp turns from a stop and rear shock mounts helped the car feel less bouncy in the rear on crap roads. Neither of these mods have had any negatives.
All I'm working on with my car is trying to get it as planted as possible with bracing and removing some of the rubber. There is some room for improvement from factory without going full on race car.
Same here, not planning to track it- just enjoy it.Just got my '21 GT/CS about 2 weeks ago. This is my daily driver car - not going to track it or do any kind of racing; at most just get a little spirited on the streets. So the stock 460 HP is more than enough for me, and I don't need super stiff suspension to ensure better 1/4 mile time. My question is, what kind of mods do you think would be best for this scenario? I'm open to suspension mods that would make the ride smoother overall, but maybe from that standpoint stock is the best you can get. Ultimately I just want it to be as comfortable to drive as possible, while still being fun.

Wound up using a bra, DD was too big and cup blocked vision. A - cup sports bra in black was just right. ;)I like your idea but it’s a mustang, rig something up with a thong and the phone secured behind the little triangle bit …

Noticed a lot of people commenting on where to put their phones. I also don't like keeping mine in my pocket while driving and I've found it fits perfectly in the coin tray just under the toggles. I can set it in there horizontally whenever I'm using Google Maps since I don't have navigation. It's actually a perfect fit for my phone (Galaxy S10) with a case, but I recognize that may not be the case for all phones. And you could probably pull out the rubber tray if you needed a little more room for any of the larger phones. Since I never have cash/coins, I don't have another use for a coin tray anyway.

Ah lol I don't have that problem. It's a nice, snug fit for my phone from the front edge of the tray to the bottom of the toggles, so it's not going anywhere no matter how spirited my driving is.keeps flipping down when I hit the gas.![]()
Steeda IRS brackets seem like a next best thing...since you've gone this farSpeaking from experience as my 16 was my DD for a couple years (I no longer have to commute), vertical links helped cut down on inner wheel axle hop when I was taking sharp turns from a stop and rear shock mounts helped the car feel less bouncy in the rear on crap roads.
