Bought my '16 as a daily while I tear the '13 apart. Once the '13 is put back together, we'll do it to the '16

Audit life

I'm an auditor at a big4 and I drive it daily even in snow storms. I also work irregular hours at diffrent places and dive many miles. The EB is fantastic. You say gas doesnt matter, I disagree unless you get reimbursed on the bill and not an allowance. I get an allowance /mile and thanks to the EB good highway gas milage I net out a hefty amount. just made 600$ (net) in 2 weeks on a mandate that is 100 miles away just for driving a car I love.
Dont hesitate audit is boring as fuck, get a mustang.... only side effect is your looser accountant buddies will be like, (how can you afford this) and also I have a cat-back so i coast in nutral when i get the clients...

Good morning,

This is my first post on these forums. I just want to go ahead and apologize now if there is a thread on this subject that I missed while searching because I am sure there is. Little backstory: My 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid was deemed a lemon and I am currently in the process of having Hyundai buyback the vehicle from me. During this process, I began to think about what car I wanted to get to replace this hybrid. Here was my thought process...I'm an auditor...not the most exciting career out there but it pays the bills. I didn't want to get into a mundane car, head to a mundane job for hours, then back into that mundane car to head home. There's no fun in that equation. So, for my price range, the Mustang immediately came to the forefront. The problem is, being an auditor, I travel to the clients; whoever they may be for that week. My commutes vary from close (24 miles a day) to unreal (174 miles a day). To put this into prospective, I had my Sonata Hybrid for two months before the engine issue occurred, by that time I had driven 6000 miles.

So my question is, do any of you use this Mustang as your DD or is it your one and only car? And if it is, do you commute as much as me? Or should I just pursue a different car? Keep in mind, MPG doesn't really matter to me because I am reimbursed for mileage at a federal rate.

I bought mine to be a high mileage DD. 8,000 miles the first three months. Then we moved, and that was the end of that. But I like my plan. The GT/AT is a bomb-proof drivetrain. The mileage isn't that bad, mid 20s on any kind of open road and better than that on a freeway. Comfortable and fun. Getcha one.
