I would never touch another car with the A8. I had to lemon law a new 2019 C7 thanks to shudder and rear end warble at around 400 miles. My C6 was much better. Anyone that buys a used C7 out of warranty with a A8 is not gonna be happy when they gotta pay out of pocket.
I like both cars. But for my driving the low end grunt is better for the LS and LT engines. Had my 2021 LT1 for 3 months and yet to get it on the highway. Now that my Vette club will start the cruises again i can get it out on the back roads for WOT burst to over 120mph all i want each month.
Guess i'm not a man stan. No way i am gonna row thru gears in my clogged traffic with red lights every 200 feet or less and speed limits under 45mph. As for winter, FL has not had a winter since 2010.
If they would offer a 450hp V8 i would buy one in a beat heart. I love the small size, but come on lets slap a real engine in them. Or at least a 320hp V6.
I never gave the gen 5 or 6 Camaro's a thought all these years. After i traded my modded 2013 C6 for a new 2019 C7 and all the trouble it had i went to the Camaro since i was never gonna touch another C7 with the A8 trans and waiting for a C8 to come down in price will take years. So it was...
I just don't notice any change of being able to see when driving my 2021 LT1. I guess years of driving C6's and a 7 did that to me. I just don't notice a change.
Maybe i will see you around sometime. I am in Pasco on the gulf. I had to lemon law a new 2019 C7 and ended up with a 2021 LT1. Runs 10 times better than that C7 did. Almost runs as good as my modded 2013 C6 did.
Shame to see it go. Just took my first ride in a 2017 GT350 about 40 mins ago and yikes. Sounds so good and pulls so hard. Seems to grab the road much better than my modded C6 did as it would break loose like crazy from a roll.
