Researching replacements for my OEM lug nuts on '20 PP1 wheels. All the stuff I see people linking online and in-stores are black colored. I like the silver/chrome/nickel look. Does Gorilla make these lug nuts but in non-black? I would like to keep the factory style bulge for most contact, all the silver lug nuts I see have less contact.

McGard makes some too, theirs is #64023
they come in a 4 pack and are longer than the stockers but not too long. They take a 21mm socket.

Looking for that part everywhere online, seems to sold out in a lot of places. I think the chrome looks so much better on black wheels :)

Yeah those look great, but I'm not the biggest fan of lug nuts that stick out more than usual, do you have any pictures?

No but they are only about 1/4 to 5/16" longer. look on their site, you can look at everything they have in whatever thread size you want.

https://shop.mcgard.com/products/automotive/all-products?thread_size=308&seat_style=8

the ones I bought are 1.945" long, they do make some that are 1.635" long which would be perfect, but they didn't have the bulge style that I wanted in the shorter size.

They do have a set of chrome bulge style that are short, but they take a 22 mm socket. Part # 64073
I didn't get them because I didn't want to carry a special sized socket along with the wheel lock key with at all times.

To be fair, I think Ford has fixed this issue. I haven't had the swollen nutz with my last 2 Mustangs.

Wasn't really all that hard to find, at least the lock style. I've got a similar set in black on my car for at least 2 years and they still look new.

My GT came with the "2-piece" wheel nuts where the "cap" is a thin steel covering that eventually will swell and cause issues with trying to remove them. I replaced them with the solid 1-piece nuts from Amazon.

When I spoke to Gorilla, they told me that the old part # was 61148CX and the new part # is 61148FS. Here is a snip from their catalog. The asterisk indicates "new for 2021".

Yes, that's what this thread is about.

And as I mentioned, I think Ford solved that issue.
