I called Lethal yesterday about the wings, I was told 16 weeks was a good estimate but that they had a lot of back orders.

I ordered mine within minutes of Tobā€™s note back in Oct. When I asked them where I am on their list on 27 Dec, they said I was #26ā€¦.
I have the new, painted trunk lid ready to go just taking up space in the garage.
Anyone have a good template for the holes to drill?

a little bird told me that as of 12/21, the orders are 12-16 weeks out. So I wasn't kidding about halfway there.

I would not trust a template from anyone.

Trace a template for each side and cut out each one. Bases upside down, place the template on each and carefully trace hole locations.

Install the uprights onto the wing with the bases taped to the templates. Tape some tabs, or extend some tape and fold it over, onto each base. Carefully place the wing assembly into place and when satisfied with location* tape the tabs you made onto the decklid so the templates stay when you lift off the wing/uprights. Punch hole locations, drill, etc.

*note - the upright bases are contoured to mate with the decklid best in one spot on each side. To find that sweet spot you have to move the bases until they fit just right. You can tell by viewing from the side. I marked the base location with a grease pencil. You have to then verify that the dogbones will line up as they fit the decklid stamping underneath pretty much only one way. Since you are through drilling, everything has to be in sync. Time consuming but when done properly the wing fits perfectly.

4 days to make one or 5 per month.

Tape peeled off that attached the template to the base after the extended tabs were taped down to decklid.

I made my own template because the ones on here were off when trying to print them and test fitting. But making them is super simple if you do it right, obviously you need 1 bracket with the screws in place that would go through the trunk in place cut a piece of cardboard that is slightly bigger than the bracket, then make holes for the screws to pass through the cardboard so the bracket is sitting on the cardboard, then trace the outer part of the bracket so you can cut it to the shape of the bracket, this would be your first bracket, if you wanted you can just use that for both sides just by flipping it to the opposite side, or you can make another doing the same thing, or use the first to trace out another and trim if needed. I would have given you mine but after my wing was put on I cant find mine, or the shop might have kept it or thrown it away after they were done, not that I care considering its purpose was fulfilled.
