Mpr is handling it all, new doors are waiting to come from china.
did they pick the old doors up or did you have to take a saw to them?

Not yet…i asked the owner of urw if they reached out to him in regards to it. But mpr is handling it or getting me a refund….i dont have time for those shenanigans.

The anderson accepting damaged goods process is wonky and i wish more clear. It sucks since they are the only ones that do cf doors

@Tomster

Theyre Sending out new doors…..MPR took care of everything, i was so pleased with how quickly this got resolved, i ordered the new gt500 fenders from them on the 2021…… I’ll also be ordering a bunch more stuff for my 2017 GT drag car from them to lighten it up

They had a gt4 wing demo at a deep discount but i have no use for it.

So they will be picking up the old doors and sending new ones. If that is the case, then maybe AC is learning their lesson. You don't ask your customers to take out the circular saw and cut the damaged item in half.

As much as I'd like the CF vented fenders, hood, wing, etc. I am reluctant to work with them again.

Its a shame.

Ive ordered a lot of anderson stuff for my mustangs and this was the first hiccup…..i wouldn't paint them with that brush over one incident. Again, MPR took care of it all…..which is why i keep going back to them….super standout customer service.

Have you ever said anything nice about anyone besides your constant throat gaggin billy johnson on this forum?

Sure I have.

But when a company asks me to take out my circular saw and cut a hood in half because as the driver who picked it up said "they didn't want you to keep it so that you can make money off of it", well, that is where I draw the line. What kind of company takes that kind of approach to something?

I didn't realize you were such a co$% sucker. Enjoy your AC stuff, lol

Edited:
You didn't answer my question. Did they pick the old stuff up or is someone getting out the saw, lol

I like to disassemble things.
I asked for an update.

Our March production should cover your order, we cannot provide an exact date due to the flux in our production. Thank you for your patience.

Can someone enlighten me? If money wasn't a concern and it wasn't a collectible item... why would anyone want the AC version over the OEM version? Are the side plates still replaceable with Arch Racing ones? I'd like to install this on my 350 but only if it's the most functional wing.... right now I have the 350R AC installed so the holes should easily line up.

I dont see any major differences. One is OEM, the other aftermarket. The OEM is subject to contract manufacture and pricing is set extraordinary high like any OEM part. I've talked directly to two OEMs, both say the same thing about the price for parts like this at the parts counter.

There are several reputable folks getting the AC wing. Before I decided, I would wait to hear what they say.

There is no way I'd pay 16K for that wing. No way. Even the used and damaged prices are stupid expensive.

Both the ORM and AC side plates are not replaceable.

Tom, are the side plates fixed or do you still have the ability to change the angle of attack? That would be a use flaw if the angle of attack couldn't be changed, right? It's disappointing to hear the side plates cannot be changed but I'm looking at it from a point of functionality if it even serves any. No clue.. never needed a big wang before.

Side plates are fixed on both wings, but that has nothing to do with setting the angle. The wings mounts have 3 holes. One set on each side act as a hinge, and the other two allow two settings, low AOA and a higher AOA.

Spoke with Lethal yesterday and finally got a straight answer, they say I am 20TH on the Anderson list (since it will be shipped directly from Anderson) and was told to check back beginning of the month and Anderson will have a better idea of ETA. Anyone know if any have gone out yet? How many will they plan to produce a month? Don't like the autohaus one would rather spend the extra 1K for the anderson one!

I wish you nothing but the best my friend. I hope you get one way sooner than later. What I am concerned about is what number people are when you factor in ALL the different lists different vendors have made. I bet AC won’t be fulfilling one list to exhaustion before they move on to a different vendor list. I think they will sprinkle production across all the lists in waiting.
