The ends are bonded onto the airfoil on the OEM CF wing so to be fair it does look like he's following that regiment anyway.

I see the cavity is filled and they have contoured a void in the middle of the area for what I assume to be to allow water to drain.

I assume he's bonding the ends to the airfoil with no fasteners as that's what it looks like.

Where I think his effort gets lost is in the details. Titanium bolts? That's as silly as it gets. You gain no additional strength, don't see them, and it only adds to the cost. Stainless security fasteners would have been a nice touch. And why add even more expense with fiber uprights when CNC'd aluminum, powder coated black, get the job done with ease (and again, at far less cost).

Looks like the uprights he's using at the moment are cast from a mold (note the circles you see on the part), parting lines are easy to see.

How do these standoffs compare to OEM ? Any taller ? If so I may be interested in purchasing some .

AC contacted me and suggested contacting Lethal so Lethal can contact them.🙂

No biggie, I'll call Lethal tomorrow.

So the source doesn't know anything and they are referring to the distributor. Ok. Got it.

Second chances are hard to come by. I sure hope they don't F this up.

Whats that? A general description? We had that a long time ago. Many put down serious money... a long time ago. I think its fair for someone who reached into his pocket to get an update.

I hope your wing comes soon and exactly as expected Tob.

I'm sorry but $265 for shipping? Isn't that a bit high? And you know its direct ship from anderson to your doorstep. Between the shipping and tax its $3K, Hopefully they deliver in 1/22 as they claimed. Good luck to all who ordered.

That’s not high at all actually. The size of the wing and the packaging required it’s actually a pretty decent price. A basic pallet shipment currently is 250ish at a minimum.

While they initially told us Jan 2022, we received emails right after ordering that stated 16-20 weeks. So maybe March…or April.

Well I know I was spoiled when I got mine and my shipping was only $60 and it was a drop ship by truck. But I am seeing some places charging $150 for Flat rate Freight, which is why I think its high when its coming directly from Anderson, but thats me.

So you've been pushed back, this was the same thing that MPR kept doing and after 6 months from the original delivery date (12/2020), I jumped ship and got my deposit of 1/2 back. And got an OEM for $4K that needed minor repair. Again I wish everyone on this ride the best.

Ditto: “Anderson Composites reached out to let us know the Rear Wing has an estimated ship date in 12-16 weeks.”

4-5 months? Why were they in such a hurry to take peoples money?
