Looks like these are interference engines so a broke chain would lock up the engine.
well that would make sense....timing snaps the whole engine tends to go bye bye....you do get some lucky scenarios.That's what dealer said, but also said "it could be the timing chain"
They normally just scope it and that usually tells them all they need to knowOh really? They don't need to tear down to determine if it needs to be replaced?
