Every single dyno run and 1/4 mile pass has been data logged. I also have the nguage set up where the knock PID is displayed all the time and use the LED indicator light to light up if any + knock is indicated. If you pm your email address I'd be more than happy to send you dozens of data log files where you can see for yourself what I had been seeing the entire time.

If I didn't redyno the car at the car show this past April I would have never knew anything was wrong. The tune cold started perfect, idled great, gas MPG was improved over my whipple tune, no smoke, catch can never had anything questionable in it, no hesitation, liner partial throttle, fuel trims were usually ranging from-2 to 2, often at 0 or +/- 1, and pulled like a freight train at WOT. These were how the spark plugs looked when we pulled them at 6,200 miles.

Yeah antiseize. The plugs came with the crate engine and instructed the shop that was doing install to gap them to .028. Ford motorcraft 1 range colder.

I've heard of not using anti seize on NGK plugs as it can potentially cause conductive issues and changing the heat range of the plug.
They say that because people put entirely too much on there, but yes that is true. Also, do you have a fuel system on this car? Don’t recall you saying so or not.

lastly, to everyone one, 800rwhp is possible on pump gas. You have to have the right/specific fuel system/parts for it.

edit: I believe there’s too much anti seize compound on them

They look like hell! Look how white they are!

Stock motocraft platinum plugs in a 800+ hp pump gas car.

For the love of god dont tell me they are stock heat range too.

Whats the gap?

id suggest the OP and others learn how to read a plug. If you need more info ask the nitrous guys LOL!

but but buttttttttt you can make like 1000hp on pump gas with an upgraded DI system......... Well according to Hellion anyways.

Not a chance in hell youd catch me trying to do it!

You can do it, but you’d need the whole system. The pump, injector, and some other things. The cost is waaaayyyy higher than most enthusiasts are willing to pay.

If knock was indeed there, the DI system would have been able to suppress it.

Yeah what about the plugs specifically?
I'm assuming a post got deleted?

There is a lot of anti seize on the plugs, just a dab will do.

There the ones Ford Performance uses for their supercharged applications. 1 heat range cooler. Gap .028.

Maybe the picture isn't coming through well on your screen, but they weren't horrible in person. Some pitting on the strap. I was actually expecting much worse. I was actually surprised they weren't more discolored after 6,000 miles of boostane shot.

I had ran NGK plugs on my stock motor that came with the whipple kit.

What are the pros and cons of remote versus local tuners?
Local tuners usually work out of a full service shop. You have the ability to shake their hand and get to know them a bit. If there are any issues, like false knock, the shop can find and correct it. They also can add high octane race gas to find out if the knock is real. If you don't like the shift schedule they can change it while on a test drive with you.

If any issues pop up the shop is just down the road.

CONs

Some people thing Ford tuning is some big secrete and only a select few are privy to the which craft.

It could be a new tuner learning his craft, but this can be found out easily with a short conversation. New doesn't necessarily mean bad.

Yes but that’s not 100% detonation.
No it's not.

I would have chalked it up to lifting the heads had it not had so called false knock, that was never found and corrected, before the send it tune was made.
