About 5 years back I did the unthinkable according to some on M6G.
I paired Ford Performance track struts and shocks to Steeda Ultralite Liner springs.
The results, it transformed my GTPP from a spongy powderpuff to almost a real muscle car.
I’ve never looked back to date. Only other big improvement was ditching that stupid bonded front swaybar.
Beefy sway bar = Gains

I just got mine re-worked with some pre-tension adjustments and it's a huge difference on top of the big bar.

As IPOGT said, shocks and struts are a good start...but, if you want a rock solid car you will need to go quite a bit farther, I had the same issue with my Bullitt which was a PP1 car and got "floaty" around 90 to 100, controllable but uncomfortable to drive, coming from a C5 Z06 I found this to be unacceptable, so I went full Steeda from front to back now the car is stable and comfortable to drive up into the 140s so far...not that I do that regularly, but we do see triple digits often as I drive on 2 lane roads where a lot and passing often involves a quick dump into 3rd for a burst around an 18 wheeler...
Like if I'm going at it its a lot better but if I'm causing between 80-120 it's like wtf. Way to whishy washy like I'm driving straight and a conveyor belt is going under me sideways but I'm still going straight.

Almost all floating feeling Ive ever had was from tires either being super new, overinflated or underinflated, check pressure.

40 psi in both front
38 psi in both back
Maybe 400 miles on all 4
Too high IMO, 34 front 32 rear max cold imo. What tires? When the tread depth is thick it can cause this. Did this start right after the tires? The only other time I had a floating feeling other than overinflated drag radials or new deep tread tires was when one of my rear axle thrust washers was broken.

Yikes, those are R7 pressures. You should be in the low 30s. I run my street tires Mich Sport 4s 30lb front and 29lb rear cold. RT660’s same as SP4s. Cup 2’s 32lb front and 29lb rear.

Oh really? Was the Ford guys who did it. When I get back from the job I'm on down state I'll lower them.

I went to a staggered setup, 20’s with 8.5” in the front and 10” in the back. I know what OP means by the floaty feeling. I’m skeptical of the balance and alignment I had done after the wheels were installed. I suspect that the toe in the front is off which is causing the floaty feeling and excess tracking. I knew the staggered setup would lead to tracking but I didn’t expect it to be this bad, sometimes it feels like driving in muddy road ruts.

Question. Does your car have the MagneRide system? Just wondering. When I first purchased my 19 PP1 with ManeRide, I went very, Very spirited driving on clear open freeways and mine never felt floaty at all, very solid. Just wondering. Thanks

Psi won't solve actual problem. You're overdue for properly damped suspension instead of garbage.

That sounds like you have some of your wheels toed in and some of them toed out to me. Still think it's alignment. How did you break your wheel? Obviously if something was a hit enough to break your wheel it's probably enough to make your alignment wonky. Don't go putting a thousand+ into aftermarket suspension like some are mentioning until you get that at least checked. If you only paid 25 bucks I doubt the dealer even put it on the alignment rack...
