Local very small town Ford dealer has a silver 24 GT. I spotted it as I rode by on my motorcycle and first thought was "they got a Camaro on trade". It looks very uninspired- especially in silver. It is a premium, auto, and sticker is 54K. Ford had completely priced me out of the market. Oh, well, I really want a 13 Boss 302 anyways. Lots of them out there with super low miles and I think they are the best looking Mustang of the modern era.

Typical comment from over on the Challenger forum- " I thought that maybe I was bias towards the Challenger, but nah, that's not it because I've always liked Mustangs too. But THAT Mustang is just such an ugly car. It looks like a Camaro from the front wheels back, with a horrendous square nose put on it! They def missed the mark on that one."

If they were priced better I think you might be able to win over folks faster…the thing is though I saw a GT premium without all the options pushing 58k. That’s Mach 1 territory
Priced better? Folks, come on.

I was just trying to remember the last time a manufacturer came out with a new and ā€œupgradedā€ version of an existing model and simultaneously lowered the price. You know, out of the goodness of their heart.

Raise your hand if you really think this is a possibility…

I'd much rather have a Mach over the Dark Horse, it looks sooooo much better. Hopefully the refresh helps... but I also do not like the interior at all. Can't believe my S550 might possibly be the last new Mustang for me.

Not expecting the price to go down, I just think 6-8k price jump is crazy for what you get.

I saw a Dark Horse listed at $82k in my area....$82K!! I would get a Mach1 with the Tremec and Supercharge it and still be $20k less, with much more power, and a better transmission.

Look, the S650 isn't a new design, it's a "refresh" and it's ugly to MOST of us. It's an S550 underneath all that ugly and the dash is terrible. The S197 jump to the S550 was a leap forward in ride quality, handling, and performance. This S650 isn't any of that, it's much more expensive, will not outperform an S550 and the styling is lost on most of us. I think they are in big trouble with this one. I could be wrong. Time will tell. I think the used market on the s550 is going to be very strong for a looooong time.

IDK, mine stickered(2022 MY) for $54k. I built one as close to it as I could and it was $56k-$57k.
