Is it possible for someone with some artistic skills to modify with a dremel/other tools and still look good?

So....after continuously checking back and seeing if someone found out how to make this work I happened to be scrolling TikTok and came across sanders street rods. They make aluminum adapters that relocate the attachment points to match the s650 engine cover. I was able to get their first production run for 99$ they have since gone up to 119$. I found and s650 engine cover on ebay for 100 bucks https://sandersstreetrods.com/products/gen-4-coyote-engine-cover-adapters

It should... I still have some clearance under my shelby brace. At first I was worried it wouldn't fit, but was surprised to see how much clearance it still had after installing it.

Did you try it with these adapters though? If someone in East TX wants to loan me their performance pack tower brace I will test fit it.

No I did not I'm sure those were not available at the time I tried but at $119 I'm not going to try

I'll give them that there are benefits to a dual air box and throttle design, but innovative? Come on... BMW has been using dual intakes and throttles in its M-series V engines for many years. It's nothing new.

The engine cover is down to $75 straight from Ford and if you have Ford points, maybe less. I got mine free + shipping charges. Also, the billet adapters have gone up to $139.00 now... I would suggest they consider producing them in a heat-resistant plastic material (something similar to what the intake itself is made of) and they could be molded out for a lot cheaper than $139, but the demand has to go up for it. I think once people see a lot of s550 Gen3s with the better looking cover, it will become more popular. Nonetheless, for $75.00 it's worth buying one even if you have to cut it up to fit it. Another thread (or maybe a reddit thread) said they applied a heat gun to the mounting tabs and bent them to fit the 18-23 manifold. I am looking at it and not sure how they did that, but the adapters that are sold (the ones you posted) look like a really simple solution. Just wish it weren't so expensive, considering the cover itself is cheap and the billet material is no longer visible once you put the cover on, heh.
