Based on that I don’t expect when my car shows up in a couple weeks to have the plug. The only difference from yours is the Safe & Smart.

Not sure. Your’s is an 18 and we don’t know the rest of your options. I may have the dealer throw the car up on the lift when it shows up for an undercarriage inspection...

It doesn't need to be on a lift. Just look under the back of the car.

I hope people come back to this thread and update their options so I can complete the data.

But in the end I suspect Ford was grabbing whatever harnesses that were available as long as they have the minimum connectors for that car's options.

To add to the data: no magride and no digital dash. Build date of 29 August 2018 if it matters.

I'm sure build dates might have something to do with it but not until there is some sort of trend in the data. Which so far there doesn't seem to be much of a trend.

Is this really correct? TascaParts shows a picture of two similar looking parts. From a different thread (https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/exhaust-actuator-harness-help.100648/), part ending in H is the driver's side short connector (from actuator) and J is for passenger's side. Really missing the part number for the splitter.

And can someone already with the main wiring harness in place post another picture of the connector that is plugged into the empty connector (near the EVAP)? The empty connector has a number 33472-1311 (as can be seen in a photo from an earlier post) and the part that plugs into it starts with 33482. Should be able to get it from a site like Mouser, as it looks to be a standard Molex connector type. Thanks.

Still nothing in the data that suggests anything although the sample size is tiny. You would expect to see some sort of indication. Every single option either has the plug or it doesn't.

Either it's completely random or it has something to do with the safe and smart option forcing a change of the lower harness.

If you look at mejohn50 his 2019 mustang is less optioned than mine overall but he has safe and smart.

88lx50 so far is the only one we know of with the plug but no safe and smart package. I wonder if his car has adaptive cruise control as a standalone option without s&s if that's even possible on a manual transmission.

The only thing we know for sure as of now is all 2018 401a with safe and smart have the plug..... We need more data!!!
