It just blows my mind someone buys an avtive car and takes it off.
When I start the car I get a message (active exhaust not avaliable) . I hope when I get the jumpers it all works smoothly.
I know none active corsa is 600 bucks cheaper but your doing away with a 900 option on the car. Come on man!!!

And just like that, it stops working again. Went out and took a video of the active exhaust in action, then turned the car off. Went out to the car about 20 minutes later, turned it on, and "exhaust mode selection not available". All I can think is that it HAS to be the wiring... maybe there's a crimp somewhere that, when the exhaust shifts a certain way paired with expansion from rising temperatures, it "closes the circuit". Guess I'll be ordering some new wiring and seeing if that helps

The part numbers for jumper wires are above. I called my local dealer. $25 for one and $22 the other . Not to bad. I ordered mine and will be here in a week.

They were posted earlier in the thread as well. Keep in mind, you need 1 of the one and 2 of the other. On Tascaparts, the ones I'm getting were $15 each +$10 shipping

Has to be an intermittent short somewhere. Check the wiring for cuts and also make sure all the connectors are tight.

That's what I'm thinking. I ordered new wiring, so I'll make sure connections are tight as I wire that up

The dealer that sold me my slightly used 18 with factory active that the previous owner removed with only 548 miles on the car said the factory mufflers were $576.

Thats nuts. Sky rocketed since this began. The CHEAPEST I have found them are $400 each. Probably only going to go up.

    It is crazy!
Told me the complete setup was over 1300 and they weren't getting it. I found a new set of factory mufflers on Facebook a guy had ordered and said it was to much trouble to get them to work on his 16 and he was selling both for $400 bucks. The dealer got those for me. I had to get the jumper wires on my own.

2019 here. Is this the right plug?

Also, I changed the forscan stuff. I have it in my cluster now but do not get the “no exhaust” alert. Is that normal? C5231F9A-9F7A-4511-85E2-FA58151A63C6.jpeg

Yes, that is the right plug,

Is your car a 401A? Keep in mind, if you have a 401A, there are 2 lines that need changed for the active exhaust to work. It doesn't seem right that you don't get the "no exhaust" alert despite not having anything hooked up to that plug, but I can't give you a certain answer as I programmed mine after install

    I did what mfoley posted:

“For me, the first line was same but the second wasn't. I had a 1 instead of C but used the E anyway.
    720-10-01 *XXX XXXX E = Enabled 1 = Disabled”

Just curious if anyone else has ran into this.

Well did your car come from factory with digital dash or no? Because if it did, there's another line you need to change

Yessir. It’s a 401A car. I should have mentioned that I did change the second line as well.

    720-04-01 and 720-10-01

10-01 had the different character. 1 instead of C. I changed it to E like mfoley did. He got the alert. I am not.

So I am coming in late... But couple questions...

1st... has anyone cut the active exhaust tip off, and just put a "turndown" and been able to fit it so the 2015-2017 outlet bumper does not need to be modified? Even if say try and move the mufflers as far forward to squeeze a little extra space?

2nd.. how does the valve work? Spring loaded close? Could you put a Rheostat on the voltage to the valve and make the valve variable? 0-100% open?

    Thank you, just curious.

Has anyone successfully converted a 2019? I got in all the parts. Hooked it up while off the car. Programmed with forscan. Changed the exhaust modes and NO CHANGE IN FLAPPER.

Are you getting power? It was posted a while back that the power relay is installed such that now power flows if it's not factory installed. So you'll need to flip that relay around if you haven't already.
