Guys I found 2 more unused plugs on my 2018 GT more toward the front of the car on both sides on the inside of the frame rails near the headers. The mechanic thought they may be wiring for the stock active exhaust. Anyone know what these unused plugs are for? 2018 GT 400a PP1 without magnaride or active exhaust.

Any chance the tips could be converted from two to one for 15-17 owners that don’t want to swap valences or bumpers. Maybe some kind of y pipe leading to a single tip

Is there an aftermarket solution. That will probably be easier.

That doesn’t require cutting up the bumper to install a valence I think only the Remus one. But that’s 3000 dollars versus buying a used 18 catback for 4-500 dollars. I guess cutouts are an option or the boss 302 midpipe with cutouts. But having to buy another 15-17 catback and doing all the modifications to it is at a minimum 500 for just cutouts with the boss midpipe which to me would be cleaner is like 1500.

Maybe somebody on this forum is handy enough to make a valence that doesn’t require cutting the factory bumper but still has dual exhaust openings.

Has anyone been able to install the active exhaust on an 18+ that does not have the plug?

Working on it. We have identified all of the area's where you need to tie in for power and control. I'm working with someone now on getting a harness made. The control lines are behind the drivers kick panel, and power is behind the passenger kick panel.

Nah, the active exhaust factory wiring runs inside. I'd bet those are for Magride maybe?

Can someone outline the differences in pipes or hanger locations between a STOCK 2018/19 GT with active exhaust and a 2018 EB non-active catback exhaust?

OR

Is the 2019 EB active exhaust catback the same components used on the 2018/19 GT w/active exhaust or are the mufflers different internally between the 2 types?

Hangers are in the same place for active and non active exhaust on the gt. Pipes are also the same. I cut and clamped the active exhaust mufflers to my original exhaust.

I would love to see a plug and play harness become available for this!

I just ordered the harnesses and mufflers from my local dealer. $470 after tax. I'm hoping to have it all by Friday. At which time I'll install it over the weekend. I'll make a separate thread for 18 up.
Did you create a 18 and up install guide in a separate thread?

I scoured through this thread to see if there was any rhyme or reason to the car configuration. There are some missing data points but the short answer is that so far I don't see any trend.

If you see your name here and want to add some more information just let me know, or corrections. If you don't see your name here and would like to add it to the list just post all of the below variables.

Yeah if someone makes the harness I'm willing to buy even if we have to pin the connectors to the module.
