Has anyone cut open a 2018 active exhaust muffler?

I'd like to see the baffles and the gasflow path when the inner tip is shut off for a Quiet Mode start.

I'd like to see the baffles and the gasflow path when the inner tip is shut off for a Quiet Mode start.

Would be interesting but I doubt anyone is cutting one open considering it has resale value if someone upgraded. Maybe if one gets destroyed in a collision it could become the supreme sacrifice.

Looks like a straight through muffler when open. It has holes in it so it forces through those small holes. Then I'm sure there's some type of filler material and baffles in there to direct to the outter tip.

It is straight thru when open with baffles. I could at least see that on the mufflers before I installed them by shining a light inside.
