Ask 5 people about brands and you'll get five answers. I'd reach out to Whipple or Shelby America; they might have brands they've gravitated to over the years. Otherwise, keep good documentation, follow the maintenance schedule and use parts that meet or exceed the standard.

7G would be the preferred site for your car. You're welcome to be here, but very few at 6G have 7G cars. "Racer57" owns a 7G, GT350. Hit him up when you open an account there. You can setup the same profile there as you have here.

Rockauto.com has the best deal on 5w50 oil... Mobil 1 Supercar for $7.01 per quart.
Everyone has an opinion, but I've heard only good things about those who've used Mobil 1 5w50 Supercar. It's been working for my car fine too.
I don't see the need to spend double for amsoil, ford motorcraft or any other 5w50.
GM formulated the Mobil 1 Supercar oil specifically for their flat plane crank V8 in the Z06... good enough for me!
