Just under 1000 miles. Took my car to the dealer for the first oil change and just as I feared they tried rolling my car into a normal lift and damaged the middle splitter. Barely, but it was perfect before they got ahold of it. I know it's minuscule, and on a part that was bound to get damaged eventually, but that's not the point.

The marks are perfectly spaced and match up to the lift they first tried to use. I also took before pictures right when I got to the dealership. I could tell the service manager was pissed, but he had no argument about ordering a new one.

My dealer did the same exact thing on a curb leading into the service bay, watched (and heard) it happened. They ordered me a new splitter. It's plastic and easily replaceable but it's still expensive.

I'm sure it wasn't intentional. I highly doubt any tech wakes up with the intent to damage someone's vehicle, sh*t happens. As long as they make good on replacing damaged components I wouldn't sweat it.

Yeah, I'm not sweating this at all. It's just sad that they have a lift that they know won't damage cars, but they still try to put it on a regular lift. T

Dude, that is nothing. If you saw my splitter, your jaw would drop. Its a $200 part. Its considered consummable in this car

I got my first splitter scrape yesterday.

On a similar note, when I first bought my C6Z06 I was driving it home from out of state. I got a friggen flat tire and had to stop at a place in Amarillo, TX to have it replaced. The tech smashed my front splitter right into the curb, backed up the car, hopped out and tried to run inside. I stopped him and he denied doing anything. It was like a 10 minute argument with the manager but he finally agreed to replace the splitter. His first question to me was "are you sure it wasn't like that already?" Dude, I just bought it and I watched your tech park on the curb. Yes I'm sure.

I was a little worried they wouldn't come through but they called my local dealer in Utah, had them order the splitter, and I picked it up with no issues.

No reply guessing 200 dollar OEM splitter doesn't exist. I've seen them in the 400-700 range for the non R.

Its $320 retail. The dealer I know got me mine for mid $200.

The R splitter now goes for $900. Its bunch of pieces of plastic and under the car, it doesnt matter as long as they are not cracked/falling off the car/rubbing on the road.
