E85 really doesn’t give a crap what your IAT2 is (within reason, of course). 110, 120, 130 degrees, etc is a non factor since E will cool the combustion charge and even if it didn’t, the octane number is so good you’re not going to knock. You’ll still make great power even on “high” IAT2.

100%. Ethanol needs heat to vaporize. Interchiller is counterproductive when running E85.
That's odd since My IAT2 temps stay around 70°f with blower intercooler coolant temps as low as 34°f at 16lbs boost 920whp, 1108chp.

lol, no offense…but your full E85/FI Interchiller Stage 2/KPM 1500HP/PWM fuel System and Smoothboost Boost Controller, don’t exactly qualify as “avearage temperature control“ 😉

Lmao im in the same boat! Its amazing to have those lower temps and improved track time. In the 1/4 my temp only rises like 10-20 degrees.

Alternatively, get a trunk mounted ice tank and 1" lines with larger heat exchanger and water pump.
So what does he do after five minutes and all the ice melts?

Still a heavy reduction in IATs. With that setup the only time i saw anything over 100 IATs was when i was drag racing specifically but i do have 1k+ whp and am spinning the VMP blower at its limits so i am generating more heat than most.

You would make the same power if your IAT2 was 30-40 degrees higher since you’re on E. FYI my Camaro makes 1066 WHP on 140 degree IAT2 at virtually the same boost level you have. If you have the right fuel IAT is a relative non issue. Look at all the no prep guys making huge power…most don’t even run intercoolers…M1 fuel is their friend lol ;)

Interchillers make a ton of sense for guys stuck having to run pump gas (91/93).

While yes E is good for that, i find the interchiller heavily combats heat soak especially on a car driven to the track, raced, the driven home. What pushed me to upgrade everything was i started at 100IAT and ended a run at 200IATS on a second run. Pulled loads of timing.

I've got a "sai li" twin pump GT350 OEM style hat / basket/ pumps I'm willing to let go for cheap if you decide you want to do a budget return system and run E85!

I guess its piece of mind for me, not just 140 IAT2 but rather the adverse affect of, reduced power, potential long term reduce longevity "if" the temps goes higher without me noticing. For me, running those IAT2 temps is directly related to heat soak and or intercooler inefficiency at the least. I don't play around the outskirts or gray areas of performance "if" I can prevent/reduce them. But that's just me. Later

so since im already planning on converting to e85 soon, i guess this will be our first step towards the heat soak concern
