I think around 650 rwhp is close to max for this blower on 93. Maybe higher on a dynojet..... I do have an aftermarket tune as well, and all data logs look good.
It was a year ago , but I did
26 spline input shaft
brass pads
carbon fiber synchros
upgraded gears from AMP ( The 1st-4th gear are OEM and the 5th,6th and reverse are aftermarket. )
I did a 3.73 swap to a 3.31
While I was in there i upgraded to the big bertha through bolts.. i have a few videos of the process on tik tok, if you're interested I can post them up. I just used a transmission jack to raise and lower the diff.
Luckily in austin theres a transmission shop , Pistoles. I just shipped the upgraded MT82 parts their and had Steve do my built transmission.
I ended up selling my working transmission and buying a blown up one and built that one to offset the cost.
I think all said and done I paid around 2k...
I've gone through all of this...
I have a few tik tok videos about it...
but essentially I changed the pilot bearing:
and shimmed the throw out bearing:
Here is a video on how to shim the throw out bearing:
Feel free to DM me if you need more help
I have a built MT82 , stock motor, 2.3L roush blower on my 2015... broken a good amount of parts..
Out of necessity I had to go catless... they were clogging, so I did cat delete. Now I am running e85 and bias ply tires are neccessary if you want to launch the car.. or at the very least some...
Going through changing my belt right now and its more a PITA than I thought it would be LOL...
Anyone have any more pics to make this easier?
I've gotten the Fead bracket loose and can get the belt loose ; but I guess it's hung up at the water pump still.
