Moral of the Story: 2022 s550 w/ Roush P2 on e85 and FI Interchiller Stage 2 kit had so much power on a hot summer night at the drag strip it broke the driveshaft…
I just wanted to record some data in this thread.
My first track outing landed me a 7 second 1/8 mile pass on August 28th in my t56 Magnum swapped 22’ Roush P2.
It was hot. I had drag valve on for the FI Interchiller and car NEVER pulled timing even after 4 pulls.
In fact, we snapped off...
I have watched countless videos of folks running the Ford Aluminator crate engine to 1000k whp and those engines live there a long time. Then you are actually running an OEM spec motor which is built from the factory
Car ran 7 second 1/8 mile last Friday night and next pass it busted the yoke off of the single piece aluminum driveshaft:
If car would have hooked on final pass we would’ve easily ran a high 6
I had the Steeda Tri-Ax on my mt82 before that gearbox died…now I have a t56 Magnum and I would wait until you have your t56 installed before you go upgrading the shifter…in other words see if the stock t56 shifter is to your liking before considering upgrading
Jokerz is located not too far from me and they will definitely respond eventually.
I believe they have a very active presence on Social Media as well so you may consider reaching out that way too.
Also, @DRP Motorsports will be able to give you some good advice.
As always, @beefcake is a...
My whip is a 22’ GT Roush P2 with full headers/exhaust and e85.
My mt82 died at around 5k on the odometer.
t56 magnum swapped and car made 800+ whp and 760 torque and NEVER grinds or anything, no lock out, nothing bad to say even after power shifting the daylights out of it…lol

Back in 23’ I looked at all the “usual suspects” low mileage Camaro, Corvette, Mopar everything: Charger/Challenger etc and the Coyote motor is what sold me…I’m glad I went with this platform.
If I didn’t go Mustang I’d probably have a 3.0 Supra and build it out from there…
I have also thought about the same possibility of a larger Coyote based engine…but I always come back to the thought the Coyote platform currently holds world records for both 1/4 street car (Bret L.) and the Nurburgring (GTD) the Coyote is basically the best platform for everything you can...
I recently acquired a set of Stainless Works Legend cat back from @beefcake and I can’t imagine a better sounding exhaust.
We have SW LTH and catless as well. The sound is very tame and pleasant throughout the entire RPM band.
My previous setup was the LTH with cats into Borla Switchfire and...
Ladies & Gentlemen,
I am posting a couple pics of my 22’ GT with Roush 2650 P2 kit installed.
It is bittersweet because this summer will be the last time I drive this whip in it’s current form.
I have a fully built and sleeved gen 3 short block and 3.8 Whipple going in the car very soon...
