Don't need the fuel pump. Look into the JMS BAP as well, you may like it better. It cranks voltage from throttle input so it's not always blasting 18v to the pump like some other BAPs.

Interesting, what duty cycle does that put you at
Im around 850 with them on e95. My max pulsewidth hits 12 ms at 7500, but for some reason the gen3 ecm won’t command all 16 ms that’s available. So they’re only at 75% duty cycle but 100% of what ford allows you to command.

You don't need the pump, the g4 Intercooler is overkill imo also

if you follow juggernaut on Facebook they actually have a really good deal for a g3 kit right now that a customer ended up not getting
Thanks Pws6. So if I don't need the pump, I don't need the pump booster either, is that right. So I don't need the pump, pump booster, and intercooler. What about the blow off valve? Is the standard 50 mm good enough?

No, you need to booster with a 120mm, but some tuners will tune a 125mm without it. The standard BOV is a summit tial clone, they are very similar in my opinion but some people prefer the real tial. I personally run the summit with no issues

Thanks a lot for your help. I think I have the info I need to order. I think I have a complicating factor though, in that I'm running the Ford Performance kit (CAI w/upgraded throttle body and calibration tool: https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-9603-M8B). I guess that will go in the trash or sold.

So now you know my delimma, ESS looks cheaper at first but when you dig into it…. I wonder what the difference would be power wise, I think I read somewhere the Whipple includes the tune in their kit.
I see you're from Canada as I am bit I'm on the West coast. I have a Modified Whipple tune done by a dyno tuner on my 2017 6R80. Modified for headers, fuel injectors, and return system.
I've tried 3 reputable tuners in the US and this tune is way better than those.
They seemed to have trouble remotely tuning my Gen 3 Whipple. Especially Lunds tune who's revisions were so bad it was like they weren't even for my car.
Anyways My drivability TQ management etc is all on point with the new Whipple tuning.

Guys, this is a good discussion!! Cost was my prime motivator for ESS...but I'd probably rather have a Whipple/VMP. When I called a local shop, they quoted 12k for the Loki system install/tune. Odin was 15k. I figured that install was a bit more involved vs. a centi system. Thoughts?
its for sure more involved but nothing crazy. Those quotes seem pretty high to me.

It really depends on what you want and what your goals are. I had a few Fox body blower cars back in the day (when I got my 1989 notchback, the Vortech A-trim and Paxton were the popular ones), but for this build I want to keep it streetable and set up for handling. We sometimes hit the mountain roads up in Idaho and too much wheelspin on a corner with no guardrail would be not good.

I plan on having fun with it on mountain roads and a few trips a year to the local drag strip, Firebird Raceway.

I'm shooting for only around what their blower graph showed for the G2 blower (615-625 RWHP), so spec'd out an ESS G2 with 120mm or 125mm pulley, black wrinkle color (that added $250 alone), G3 spec intercooler, and a boost-a-pump (will do research on that to get the best one) and came up with $5775.

I reached out to Wengerd and he said no issues with the stock injectors at that point, but obviously if I go with an E85 tune (run E85 exclusively now), I'd definitely need a few additional mods, but I'd be flowing a lot less cfm than the G2 is rated for.

As I age (57), I find that my wants and needs have changed compared to when I got my first Fox body car after the Army at around 22 years old. Improved handling (Ford Track Handling Pack), great brakes (stock), a Ford X-pipe (sound) and 750-ish crank hp would definitely do it for me.

This is an old thread, but I read all 7 pages and am curious where the OP ended up.
