My current intake manifold is a modified Edelbrock unit. Top cut off, ported all the way through and sheetmetal cover welded on. Also added 1in of depth on rear of the plenum to unshroud that back cylinder. I do plan to get the car going with this manifold but plan to move to a shorter runner unit to chase increased high rpm power. The edelbrock in its current state had a peak hp rpm of 8100 and peak tq at 7550. If anyone has an interest in the current piece, hit me up.

Last setup was 12:1. My reasoning for less CR is I'll be running more boost than before.
at 11:1, you will need more boost just to make up for the lack of compression to start with, just to get back to where you were before, something to keep in mind

I disagree in this situation.

i'll agree to disagree.. lol.

i'll never do anotherl ower compression coyote, We did that many times with bes and always needed more boost.

At 35-40 pounds of boost, won’t you reach an octane limitation at some point depending on compression ratio? I understand static compression is just one factor and dynamic compression is more important, but huge boost and 12:1 will need crazy octane. My buddy has a built gen3 coyote and with 20 pounds of boost and 12:1 compression he had major knock on E60 and broke a piston. You guys are nearly double the boost so I just wanted to float this question out there. Hope the OP doesn’t mind. :)

CR of a given combo is dependent on many things. Its not a s simple as saying I run 12:1 with this much boost. My selection of the CR is based on several factors. None of which are common with the two CR comments by Beef or roadcone.

Wasn't (at least at one point) Snot Rocket running 10:1, 48psi, and ethanol one R? 2500hp on a hub dyno?

Again, each combo is different. As with each part of a build there is a trade off. In my situation, I'll realize benefits in several areas. I didn't reduce the CR to slow my shit down.

We're back in action. 328cid, 11.44 cr, dbl keyed callies 3.80 crank, callies ultra h beams, custom Ross pistons, 3.708 bore in a sleeved predator block. Got some trick valvetrain components on the way. I'll post em up as soon as I get them. I plan to run the comp stg2 blower cams I had locked out. Hopefully has some chop...

Not as active but I saw the email notification so I came in to see what was poppin
Trying to get the GT back together and ready for hits in the fall! Having alot of fun with the truck lately and really considering turning it up. Runs hard with the blower but another 100hp and converter would be ideal..
