Drove this R model on a test drive. Nice car, seems like a good price, but its not a Base GT350. Someone took off the blue stripe and did a black wrap on the roof. Didn't have the Cup 2's on it. Felt good to drive a GT350 again since mines been sitting since November.

Had to completely strip and redo a botched Ceramic coating that was not prepped properly. Used Armour Detail Supply products.
•Decon Soap w foam cannon and contact wash

It's not my favorite mounting position, but being forward of most of the heat, and paired with the hood vents I have, I'm not super concerned. If anything I may insulate them down the line.

Aaaggghhh I'm so jealous at all of you tracking your cars!! I really want to track the R but risk of losing ESP protection freaks me out.

Separately, I had my first legit encounter with dangerous stupidity today. It's nearly 80, suns out, it's Friday, and we're nearly out of Winter. In Chicago that's basically like "bring out your shitboxes and best Max Verstappen impersonation". Some clown in a previous gen Audi A4 thought tailgating and revving the piss out of that little baby turbo 2.0l engine was going to get me to race through residential neighborhoods. Had my kid in the car and used it as a valuable teaching moment.
