If you’re forever staying on the 125mm or 120mm pulley, do yourself a favor and save money and get the G3, no reason to spend the extra on the G3X.. you’ll make 0 more power on those pulleys. Only get the G3X if you want to run the 95mm or smaller.

Procharger does have their own (and rather disappointing) tuning and device
OP was looking for 500-600. Procharger tune will get him there all day long.
Twice on Sunday if you add some octane.

It's more about drivability. I had the Procharger calibration on my 2017 initially. It had strange flat spots in the power output, and got worse gas mileage than when I switched to Lund at that time. Maybe they have improved it since then, but I'd go with Wengerd all day over the Procharger calibration. The ESS referb kit with aftermarket tuning is still cheaper than any Procharger kit with tuning.

I can only go buy when I installed a procharger non-emissions kit in my buddies 2016 GT around 3 years ago. Runs great. Very low 10s car. High 9s with octane. Whether or not they switched up the calibration I couldn't say for sure. I really liked the fact it was all plug-N-play.

I have the Procharger HO kit on a 2022 Mach 1. The Procharger tune is great as far as driveability. My car makes right around 600 whp. I also have a Whipple Stage 1 on a 2013 Boss and their canned tune sucks but it does pass emissions so there's that. OP would be happy with the Procharger kit.

I have no doubt that I'd be happy with the Procharger kit. Also the Whipple and Roush. I'm leaning toward ESS G2 refurb for cost reasons. Thanks for the info!

Also, when I ordered my kit. I ordered the ID1050XDS injectors that are an option on the website. And they did not fit. I haven't seen anyone mention this on this forum yet but I made them fit. I had to use a Dremel tool and shave away a little bit of the connector to get it to work. I'm not sure if this is normal or not but I wasn't aware when I ordered it originally. I was surprised at the least.
I'm not sure if you order the ID1050X instead of the XDS injectors from a different website if it will make a difference or not but I don't know why they have them as an option if they don't fit correctly.
It wasn't every injector either. It was only 2 of the connectors that were in the way of the head cover. They were too low, the injector adapters that come on the injectors need to be slightly taller for them to fit perfectly.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Not sure why more don’t do this, but the injector data for the dw95 injectors is nearly identical to the id1050, they are about $350 cheaper, and dropped right in place of stock-style (mid-length) injectors.
Probably a better choice then..

Prochargers can only be advertised at certain prices because they sold by dealers not direct. Beefcake has said it 100 times before, he can beat the cost of an ess on a comparable procharger kit. Has any one actually hit him up and tried on one?
I might have to check with Beefcake about beating the cost of the ESS. By all accounts so far the ESS seems to be cheaper, but not by that much, but perhaps enough to tilt my decision. I also have to take into account the cost of installation of the kit.
we can def help out, especially with black friday we are doign some killer pricing on the vortech and paxton kits

As the title states, I'm looking to get 500-600 whp out of my 2021 GT PP. Not looking for much more. I know I could go with a Whipple or Roush and get a lot more than that but that's not what I'm looking for. Any recommendations? I'm budget constrained so don't really want to spend 10k+ on a kit. Would ESS be the way to go? Maybe a G2 w/ 125mm pulley or would I have to go with a G3? I don't track the car and don't really care what my 1/4 mile times are. Just want some more oomph.

Happy Thanksgiving!
A budget versus 250whp Performance gains, those two things sometimes, never align up with one another. But, If this was my DD and only car, reliability of any performance enhancements has to coincide with one another and be my top priority which means less power, more conservative usually equals longevity. I personally know this from the Hard Knocks of Life so to speak. Well after my spill, my choice would be an easy one. ESS G2 with 125mm pulley would be my path to a compromised happiness and keep that "Adrileane Demon" checked for its a nasty Demon you will fight with. LOL Good Luck
