I have ordered a Procharger HO kit with a P1x for my 17' GT 6mt. I have searched and it is a little hard to narrow down an estimated whp because everyone has different parts they have swapped (injectors, intercooler, etc).

So with the stock HO kit w/ p1x, what should I expect on a dynojet near sea level on pump gas?

Update: made 622whp, see post #33 for details

Octane, who's tune, and pulley size needs to be known.

If Prochargers tune and 91 octane with the 4.75" head unit pulley on a Gen2, I would think around 570 - 580 whp.

3 factors needed. Manifold pressure, spark advance above 6500, and transmission type.....

depends on if a complete kit or tuner, kit htat your having done, but should be in that 6-620 range

a little more if doing custom tuning

My complete HO kit with P1x head unit and Procharger's tune made 525WHP at 7,000 RPM SAE on my 2018 10R80 all stock. Later I did pulley, injectors, BAP, PBD tune, etc but never dyno'd it. The difference was quite substantial. But you pay for it with daily drivability as with most aftermarket tunes.
But, I really ruined the drivability with all that stuff. The Procharger tune drove actually better than stock including shifting on that 10R80 part throttle. If I had it to do over I never would have changed from the Procharger tune. Mind you, the Procharger tune only made 6-6.50 PSI.
So, I imagine the stock RWHP on that '18 was likely 380-390 RWHP so the Procharger tune and HO kit made about another 135-145 RWHP I would guess.

Thanks all for the responses. It is a fully stock HO kit with the P1x head unit. Im not sure what pulley size it comes with, but it will be on Prochargers tune for 93 pump gas. As mention the car is a gen 2 with a 6MT.

I don't really have a goal for the car, but was hoping it would put me in the 550-600hp range.

I have already ordered the kit (from beefcake), so now Im just waiting and have nothing to do but research for the next couple weeks.

GreenS550,

What is wrong with your drivability?

Torque management part throttle. Op, you might make more than I did, but the car was easy to drive and fun with the 91 tune Procharger tune. It is likely what I'll put on my 6m M1.
A lot of guys on the site are looking at max power. I'm an old guy and prefer drivability over max power. Quality to me means more than quantity.

Sounds like Im on the right track then. I want a good driving, fun, and fast car. Not trying to set records.

You will be somewhere around 600 give or take. Whenever you are ready 700 or 800 is not hard to get to

I'm in the same ballpark hp wise but on a TT set up not procharger. 600hp is a pretty good spot for fun fast and reliable. Especially if you plan on DDing it.

I watched a youtube with Speed Addict 731. They mounted an HO, P1X with the 4.75" pulley on an 18 GT. 100% stock, just the Procharger added.

It made 600 at the wheels, they added some Octanium octane booster and it jumped to 620.

RedGT45,

I have an HO, P1x with the 4.63" pulley, 93 base fuel with Boostane added for an adjusted 98 octane, R&D 3" axle back (uses no mufflers, essentially a straight pipe system) I am guessing my combo is about 650 to the wheels. This is plenty for the street.

You are going to need some new wider rubber if you want to actually get that new power to the pavement. This I promise.

The OP was wanting to know what the complete kit from Procharger makes with the tune from Procharger, as the kit comes from Procharger. That HO kit produces 6-6.50 PSI at Max boost. I have never seen or heard anyone making 600rwhp with 6.5 psi.

Aftermarket tunes and parts change that dynamic.
