The loose headers mounting flanges more than likely. You remember the loose header bolts, that’ll throw off the wideband O2’s.This would have to be a very big leak as fuel trims were 60% off.

I don’t remember having loose header bolts, wouldn’t explain how fuel trims were on point with stock cai but JLT was way off. Either the JLT was leaking or the tune was off. Another experience of terrible JPT transmission tuning and switching to Wengerd and it being great. Seems like they are throwing inexperienced Ford tuners on our cars. After many tries JPT could not get my shift points anywhere near manageable. They kept saying nothing was wrong while I was getting ready to give up & started to think it might be my trans. Then they would send another tune & it would change. Finally I think they got tired of me & car ran like stock again. Like stock, as in no mods no e85. Felt very low on power but shifted a bit better. Finally seen Wengerd was accepting other tuning devices & I switched. Car ran fine from 1st file. Another member on here also hit me up letting me know it was the tune, that he went through the same ordeal. Should of gone Wengerd from the 1st tune. Saved $200 by going with JPT. Which turned into a loss of +$700
Because the JLT has very inconsistent MAF diameter, from one unit to the other , & that long sweeping elbow cause eddies on the inside turn which slows the flow down (after the MAF).wouldn’t explain how fuel trims were on point with stock cai but JLT was way off.
Stock 15 - Wengerd GoodBecause the JLT has very inconsistent MAF diameter, & that long sweeping elbow cause eddies on the inside turn which slows the flow down (after the MAF).
PMAS with the single 90° turn does a much better job of consistent air speed,
but also has compromises .
That's why the Stock 18+ air intake is very hard to beat.
I took it as the price of a lesson learned.Another experience of terrible JPT transmission tuning and switching to Wengerd and it being great. Seems like they are throwing inexperienced Ford tuners on our cars.
I wish I would have made this thread and pressured Beefcake into a refund sooner, I have no chance now haha
You already have multiple Juggernaut/Beefcake grievance threads & posts started.I wish I would have made this thread and pressured Beefcake into a refund sooner, I have no chance now haha
It's not about the number of complaints (although based on this forum, has far less than Lund these days), its about a tooners willingness to help someone work through issues, and level of communication, and professionalism. Not one complaint there I bet!
Similar experience here. When I had two simple questions before buying the fuel system, they were answered later the same day. When I had one issue that wasn't straight forward, I received no response at all. The instructions drawn by a 4 year old with a crayon were also a bit annoying.I have the Arcane fuel system by Juggernaut. I had some self inflicted issues and some not self inflicted. When I reached out to them I NEVER got a response, and that is both by email on their "contact us" tab on their website and also by phone. The only time they communicated with me was after a poster here, who is friends with them, reached out and they got back to me once, out of probably 6-8 times trying to contact them. The Arcane fuel system is very nice, mostly because they use quality Radium components, but their customer service is absolutely horrible.
There are advocates for every brand, so recommendations are taken with a grain of salt. OP is tuning himself now so doesn't have to rely on other as we do.It's not about the number of complaints (although based on this forum, has far less than Lund these days), its about a tooners willingness to help someone work through issues, and level of communication, and professionalism.
Wengerd bends over backwards to try and help people here, responds in a timely manner to every email and forum tag, and the vast majority of the cars he tunes run great.
Generally, when something isn't working properly (JLT intake tune in this case) It's due to installer error, or misinformation from the customer.
So yeah, I will advocate for him, because he has helped me numerous times, made revisions at the drop of a hat, and my car runs fantastic. If I'm a fan boy, so be it.
In for results on how this goes....OP is tuning himself now
