The 2 generations of one car, 👏🏻
You have proved it is a common setup compared to every other centri setup using air to air, especially the car this post is for
Procharger re-used the 2003/2004 Cobra air to water setup for their kit as well

Centri setups dont commonly use water cooled. Keyword commonly, one example hardly makes your argument
There's no requirement for water cooling in a centrifugal type in a car. Unless you have packing issues or using it in a tractor puller or drag car or something specialised. In a car like ours, you need light weight so that you can go around corners.... unless you only need to go straight then put as much metal up front as you like!

I've used a water cooler in a supercharged g40 years ago, it works well when there's little space but the cost is weight, you need a tank, pump and 2nd radiator, piping, thermostat. The risks are leaks and potential to hydraulic the engine. once it's hot, it takes time to cool. It's added hassle tbh, there's a simpler solution.

Also if you go to the drag strip, most of the big power centrifugal cars are running air to water as well

You absolutely love bringing out 3000 hp builds to a conversation about mainly street cars, dont you?
Im still curious what you drive, or am i going to get a video of some profession dragster linked again?

If you didn't ignore data you would have seen the logs from my Whipple car that I posted earlier in the thread

I know water is a good system, however it is not simply a better solution, it has pros and cons, one being it heats up slower, one being it cools down slower

however a big enough air cooler will equal a big enough water system, people tend to think the similar thing in computers, water cooled cpu does not always mean its a cooler system, it just doesnt get shocked like air does

If thats the case, and the pd is more thermally effecient, then how come every single pd system today uses a water cooled system, usually paired with ice boxes built in, which you claim is in every way better than air to air, and all our 3 centri options dont even consider a water system?
How could you even get an air to air system working with a PD supercharger?

you seem butthurt to say i ignore data when i just dont agree with the conclusion you drew from the data with no supplemental info

There must be a reason that datacenters are being built for water cooling and Intel requires water cooling for all of their high end servers these days..

You've disagreed with all of us so either we're all wrong and you're a genius or....

Surprising you dont know

2006 mini cooper s, i own one so i would know, i believe its an eaton supercharger with a top mount air to air intercooler

Thats solely for easier setup to run pipes than vents to everything. Not everything is done just for effeciency in performance, alot its done just for install ease

how is it nobody has put a variable blow-off valve/boost controller on the high side of PD system just like is needed for turbo setups?
There's a way to tune the car to basically accomplish this.

The question then becomes, at what point does a guy just go centri. Or pulley down/wastegate a centri.

I think this thread has demonstrated that there isn't any bad way to boost a coyote.....among other things. Lol

There are plenty here who believe centri is a better thermal option than pd?

My car uses water for space reasons, air cooled porsches were a thing and ran cool, but they were big as engines are active fires that cause a ton of heat so the size would be a problem

our superchargers arent that hot, so like i said before, a big enough air cooler is just as good if not better than water
