I ve had Cobb tune on my WRX and have many other custom tunes. I ve always gotten better MPGs after the tune, LOL. (and of coarse better performance). Wonder if they figured that into their " more pollution" equation ?

The big OEMs pay billions in non compliance fines annually ....part of the reason cars are more expensive now and why 100% EV companies had survived on selling BNs in Green credits to other OEs. ( Not worth as much now that they rolled out own).

I have to use new activated carbon cabin filter every three months to block noxious and smelly emissions from commercial trucks incl pick ups, old passenger cars, poorly maintained vehicles and infrequent tuned car with cats removed.

I would guess because they don't take into account EVs are powered by Cole

That's because it is the "Squirrel" Look over their not here. Actually most people who drive EVs don't realize the electricity used to charge their EVs most likely come from a Coal Firing Plant. And that the Lithium Ion batteries Are catagorized as "Extremly Hazardous" to our environment. Kinda Daaaaaaa!!

Why do we keep electing these same incompetent people?

The US is like 25% coal. Mostly NG fired these days.

Unless you think Co2 is a pollutant (it is not) Coal is cleaner than just about any fuel due to the scrubbers we use.

All EV's do is trade where the pollution is released.
