How are they even able to do that? If you financed they have to give it to the bank. If you paid cash, they have to give it to you. Sounds like some shady shit to me
They bought it at auction and the auction house lost the title. They had to order a new title. It was not disclosed to me that the title was lost when I bought the car. Now they have a new title but this whole ordeal cost them $1000 or so that they wanted from me, so we had a Mexican standoff about that until they finally caved. Now they’re salty about it so they’re dragging their feet on mailing the title.

everybody screams sue when I tell them, but that’s a sure fire way to get the title locked up for another 4 months while the lawsuit is pending. My best option is just to wait and keep bothering them.

the bank is on them about it too, problem is they are one of the biggest dealers in Illinois so the Illinois SOS could care less

the latest update is they claim they mailed it to my SOS, my SOS says no

Aha. Their reputation isn’t the greatest around here, at least from a few folks I’ve talked to previously. Not that that brings you any comfort, but you’re not alone in having issues with those guys from what I’ve heard

Bought my 22 in March of 23 and have only had 1 issue and the dealership fixed it quickly and without question.

Paint was chipping on the trunk lid where the spoiler corners meet it. Helfman Ford removed the spoiler, repainted the trunk, then installed a PP1 spoiler to replace the blade spoiler I had. No one can tell any work has been done to the car, so I call that a win.

OP, wish you had a dealership like that where you live.

Sorry man, that does suck, hope that's all the issues you have going forward.

My '22 summer only garage queen only has 6k miles, no issues so far, knock on wood, love the car.

could say Covid builds or could say just normal mass produced car stuff it happens but I’ve had some issues with my 22 gt
-Third brake light cracked
-Solenoid on engine o ring never seated half sticking out of engine allowing oil to spill down block in small amounts
-Body panel aligment issues
-Plastic molding on passenger window triangle broken tab
Funny part is they denied my warranty on the third brake light saying it got damaged yet there was no signs of anything impacting it and wanted 700 bucks to replace it I bought the light next door in the parts store for 115 and replaced it myself smh crooks

Mine has had zero warranty work. It is now out of warranty and still has had no issues outside of normal maintenance.
Cause we own 16-17 Mustang GT.. the King Daddy.

At least Ford dealerships tend to be really good with warranty repairs. My local Toyota dealership worked really hard to discourage me from ever bringing my car in and what I've read online is they will use any excuse they can think of to say your car isn't covered.
Surprised. Guess it depends on where one lives on how dealers are. Ford dealers here are just like that Toyota dealer. My Lexus dealer though has treated me like royalty so far.

LOL I agree. Toyota and Honda always are assholes to deal with. I remember looking for a car for a friend. The guy told me "These cars are priced as they are because they are the most reliable cars, can your Ford go to 500K miles" My answer was " Yes some do, I have got them to 200K no issues. Truth is rather drive a fun car plus I don't want to drive a car for that many miles anyway" LOL

2021 GT manual PP1 with 45,000 kms... not. a. single. issue.
2022 Kia - needed new short block at 90,000 kms
2023 Jetta - multiple electrical issues, rattles, creaks, required a head gasket, 50,000 kms

My most high performance car has been my most reliable. Incredible.

I ordered my HPP in early Feb 2020 a half an hour before C19 hit. A little over 18K miles. Daily driver and baby it.

Not a single issue. But I have probably jinxed it now and the engine will explode going home tonight.
