So is anyone getting a EB/GT without PP and why?

2 main reasons:

1. Need automatic this time around.

2. I can't keep the summer only tires that come with it. It killed me to get rid of less than half-used Goodyear F1 supercar tires because winter was coming.

Non PP for me. The auto is too good to pass up on especially compared to the my82 and everything in the pp will be replaced with better parts anyway with an exception of the brakes which are more than adequate for a street car on the regular model anyway. If I had no intent of modifying the car the pp would be good but since I am it would be a waste of money

This car will be my daily driver, as in transportation! The GT performance pack stuff is a great factory option for a decent price that includes the engineering time to make it work together in an integrated fashion.

I could not justify spending the money for capability I really won't be using. Additionally, I want a square set-up so I can rotate the included all-season tires to get the maximum usage out of them in many different weather conditions.

Style-wise, I like other wheels that are out there - the 50th LE 19" staggered set, the EcoBoost PP non-staggered set, and the 18" low gloss foundry wheels that I included in my order. Ideally, if those 18s came as non-staggered 19s, I would get them.

Indeed you can, but the style I like is 5-spoke 18" option. I would love it if that same style came as a 19" version. I am thinking about getting the 19" EcoBoost PP wheels, assuming they come in black and don't cost a ton.

Ordered purely to do track events with. $34K with X plan for 15" Brembos ($4.4K to buy aftermarket) and Recaro's ($2900 aftermarket). For what I was looking to do with this car I could not justify the $5K for a Premium 400A car. Too rich for my blood.

Another consideration would be that the PP comes with summer tires, and in the snowy regions ( for those that choose to ), it would be another $1000+ for a set of winter tires and rims.

That said, I'd probably get it just for the extra gauges. Yep... I'm a gauge nerd.

There should be an option to swap summer tires for all seasons. Pirelli makes them...not sure why we can't get them on 19/20 but the 18's have them.

Looks like 19's are option on non-premiums with the wheel stripe package but that's it.

Ah, yes, you are getting the EcoBoost. On the GT, there is a different 19" option.

On the 2nd Blue and 2nd comp orange those are the 18's standard on non-premiums.
On the Ruby Red those are the 18's standard on premium?
And the Race Red has the 19's with stripe pack?

Anyone that expects to do some drag racing would do well to stay away from the Perf Pkg as the stiffer suspension will hinder weight transfer on launch. That is one of the biggest reasons I traded my '11 GT (Brembo Pkg with stiff suspension) for my '14 GT (with standard suspension). Car transfers weight much better with the standard suspension for drag race launches, greatly improving 60' times and overall ET's.
