When we bought our camper, I did a ton of research on these locks because we store ours at a covered parking area behind a gate, which is basically no protection. What I found was the best solution was get good insurance, and lock the latch back so the ball can't be locked in place. Beyond that, all of these locks can be defeated. It's a matter of how much time do you want the criminal to spend on your trailer.I fear this with a haul trailer once I start towing next year.
OG Racing is local to me and if you didn't know, one of the biggest motorsport suppliers on the east coast. I was in there in August trying out seats and I asked one of the employees about a trailer lock they advertised on their IG. He gave me a demo and said that its nearly impossible and you would need some heavy heavy machinery to cut it open but when they were testing it, I dont think it was still able to be removed from the trailer. I dont remember all the details but the $350 seems to make it worth the buy. They can give better info than I can.

In reality, the best solution is to remove tires, OR install a boot on at least two wheels. The boot will buy you enough time if you are home to greet the uninvited visitor with a shotgun, or call the police if you are not home.
