I have a Timpte 718, similar to your Futura. The only extra thing I can offer is to disconnect the battery when not in use, unless you have a solar charger keeping it topped off.

I learned the hard way that the wireless remote drains the battery, and it will be dead a couple months in storage.
I can get the Timpte in my area and I was looking at the 718. I am concerned that its only 7000 lbs GVWR. I also want to load spare track wheels and some gas canisters and pull it with a F150. Do you have enough space to include spare wheels and gas canisters and do you find the 7000 lb limit very adequate in hualing your mustang?

I haul my 3,700lbs Mustang with a 3.5 ecoboost F150 and have had zero issues. It pulls along at 85mph no problem. I don’t carry anything extra on the trailer, everything is in the back of my F150. I’m sure you could add a tire rack to the trailer without any issues.

My only suggestions are get a winch on the trailer, makes loading so much easier, balance the tires so you can go 85mph without the trailer trying to vibrate itself apart. I also wired the isolation switch to turn everything off including the wireless remotes so the battery doesn’t drain when in storage.

Appreciate the reply. Thanks
