What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

The NT555 G2s. 285/305. I picked them up on here lightly used for $100 so I'm not mad. The fronts seem to do well enough for the street, depending on how long the rears last compared to the fronts, I may try the RIIs in the back.

I really liked the Indy's last year when I had stock suspension. Fully redid the suspension and had the stock black accents put back same week for winter. The Indys are squishy, but have the grip.

Still need to get that bent rim fixed and swap to the GT350 reps with Indys on for a side by side comparison. Both are SVE wheels with the same spec. Indy tires are 325 vs these at 305.

Not anything like @shogun32 levels of tires, but I have few now too:

I honestly love the Indy 500's for the price, they just feel really nice for street use. I even am doing some autocross with them and they're just very progressive and easy to drive on. Really no downsides other than not having the grip of say PS4S or a 200TW tire. The sidewall is also on the soft side but that's what makes it so nice as a street tire IMO.

Ok I finally did it! LOL. So there looks like there is a tab that locks it in… I’m assuming this is the “click” everyone hears when removing. I also assuming it is single use by design, so no re-installing. Pics for those that care:

Yep, that's what broke on mine and almost disappeared into the engine.

I think if you put the Nitto rii on the rear, you will find they make a decent street set-up. I would not run the Nitto G2 on the rear.

To be fair, they have a 30k mile warranty when running square.

I looked into Micheline's warranty. It states a 30K "limited warranty", and offers no description of what "limited" means.

I'll go out on a limb and say that means no warranty. They barely last 20K miles, much less 30K.

Unfortunately due to my work week, I haven't tried it yet. I will certainly follow up. I have really hard water so my plan is to use it for the whole process since I'm not a detailer and just using it for personal use. I did opt for the bypass valves so I could skip using the filter at times during the cleaning process. Often I rinsed down my car/truck and it dries before I get to the other side. Creating spots right from the get-go. That's why I plan to use it for the whole process. The website is right on the bottle where I bought it from www.portablwwaterdi.com

The owner know way more than. I ever care to know. He goes over your planned use, refers to a water hardness chart by zip code etc. He then makes a suggestion on which system he recommends. He down sold me from what I thought I needed.

More to come if it's worth it and if I like it. Hopefully this weekend!

I have also read you have to disable the BMS with Forscan as it does not play well with Li batteries.

Keep us posted on the performance, curious. I was recently looking into this myself but kept coming across people and manufacturers stating not to replace your car battery with one.

Installed Powerstop Z23 all around. Also did a full detail of the wheels since I had them off. I hate cleaning PP wheels, but they do look great cleaned up.

I did the Z23's recently as well, so easy to change and a big difference in brake dust. I didn't really notice any difference in performance but I did break them in properly.

It's very convoluted. You have to open the PDFs in the links near the bottom of their page (under the Downloads section) and read all the footnotes and fine print. Their OEM tire and not-OEM tire warranties are different.

Yeah....I already went through all of that.

There's absolutely 0 description of what "limited warranty" means. But I'll bet it means only factory defects are warrantied.
