Just thought I would say-- I think I love this kit. I mean I thought I would like it based on the others' feedback, but was kind of on the fence about it. After the install though, I think the difference is a pretty good better than I anticipated. I think for the guys/gals that have driven a lot more modded/tuned cars, they may not see as much of a difference in the bang for the buck category. I have no regrets, other than if I decide to go all out in a few years and put supercharger on there. And that regret would only be because of the $1k for parts and $350 for labor would be totally lost with the vin lock on the tune. But, not even sure I would regret that either since I will have had a couple of years of fun out of the kit.
I would not think it would be a total loss on parts. You could probably still sell the intake, throttle body and adapter to someone for $300-$400. They could get their own tuner and dyno tune then.

I'm in the same boat. I've been tempted to boost for a year now. But like you, don't want to step away from factory warranty. I figured this kit would tide me over. I've only driven the car 3x with the kit installed, but I'm happy. I find myself watching IATs like crazy, even though I realize they don't really matter (3/4 degrees above ambient when driving - 10+ degrees above when stopped at a light for a few mins). I need to stop looking haha.

For me, more than anything else is how much smoother shifting is for me.
Keep in mind with the kit you are dealing with a 3rd party warranty through FP with anything related or attributed to the tune or associated hardware. Anything else would be covered by the factory warranty but that part is not any different than if you had a custom e85 tune or tuned for a blower. For example, if your window stops rolling down your factory warranty will cover that aspect regardless of stock, FP or custom tune. Warranty work wouldn't be denied.

I've had this kit for over a year, along with 4.09s and truly love the setup! But just keep thinking boost, I really want to put a super charger on but I still have 3 more years of warranty that I'm not willing to throw away.
You have the A10?

I did a search, but could not find an answer initially. Does this tune increase the redline? If so, to what RPM?

It does not increase the redline.

My kit arrived yesterday, so I went ahead and completed the install today. It’s in the 30’s today, so couldn’t really open her up. Some early impressions:
- Idle is quieter with more time between pulses.
- I am liking the way the A10 is shifting in normal mode so far. It’s just a little quicker on the shifts but not harsh.
- I feel a little more grunt in the lower rpm, but nothing dramatic.

I have an extra one of these that’s still in an unopened box if someone wants it. Save you some money.

Why not? Car rips in low temps.
