I know there is a difference between the two. I will definitely have to inquire what type it is.
Do you have the print out of the runs? Usually it says on there what kind of dyno, or we may be able to figure it out if you post it.

I recieved all this info today via phone conversation with the shop owner. Not picking up the car until sat morning buy ill be sure to get the dyno graph and most definitely post it. Hopefully someone can make sense of it.

At 16lbs of boost you should be easily over 800 wheel. Something is wrong. Sounds like your making 10-11 lbs of boost at 718 to the wheels.

It does matter. I’ve seen some brands and corrections vary by as much as 100rwhp. Find out. My buddy made 840 on a standard dyno jet and then a couple weeks later made 720 on some kind of mustang dyno.
He’s correct it does matter

dynojet vs mustang brands are like 10-15% difference. Mustang dynos are more realisticfrom what I read

Go make a few track passes. The timeslip will either confirm your suspicious numbers. Or you can go home and quit worrying about dynos.

If this is an MT-82 car, 1:1 is actually 5th gear I believe. That can account for some discrepancy. Not 100 wheel or anything, but some.

I mean if jackson1320 is making 892 with a gen2 on a carb legal kit. Well thats only a small discrepancy of 170hp. Lol. Wtf? All the nut and bolt stuff is done. I'm heavily leaning towards it being a tune issue. Going to try to get my hands on this dyno graph today and post it.

that's a great idea and I'd love to do that however the closest track to me is Atco and that's roughly 7 hrs away. Bwahhh!
