Who’s doing the tuning? This is most likely a tune issue. I had the same issue with my Odin and a tune revision got rid of it. Obviously not the same supercharger platform, but I would think it’d be the same problem.
Your logic makes sense, or it would. Having been to the manufacturing plant and seen the BOM though, I assure you, it’s the internals of the US taillights with euro lenses.
Red turns. Like I said, internals out of the regular North America tails, with clear lenses. Function just like the taillights you currently have in your car (assuming you have OEM tails).
The OEM for the Mustang tail-lights is near me, and a friend of mine is an engineer there. As a benefit of that, I have the ice white taillights on my '16. In an attempt to answer some questions that I picked up on while super quickly skimming through the thread here:
1. Yes, the ice white...
29 and hairless from head to toe. I have alopecia. Otherwise, judging by all the living elder male relatives on both sides of my family, I never would have gone bald in the traditional way.
The thing is, if you're doing remote tuning, the logs are all they have to go by. They're not sitting there with you/the car. I had throttle issues on the first tune they sent me. The idle would run away, go way above commanded, it would hang up during driving, the ECM after a certain point...
I've definitely heard that from other people, but I really haven't had any of those type of issues. They've been super responsive with me, and were able to correct throttle/driveability issues I had been having at first with 1 tune revision.
I'm at 707 whp and 553 wtq, with an incredibly flat and consistent torque curve throughout the power range. The horsepower basically builds with revs, all the way to redline, just like it would with a centri. Both styles of blower (roots or PD) can get you to these power and torque levels, the...
Hey there, the Lund nGauge is definitely still supported by Lund for tuning, it's just not manufactured or sold anymore. Lund still prefers tuning with the nGauge rather than the new RTD as they have more experience with the nGauge and are accustomed to it. The nGauge also has the advantage to...
I've installed a VMP Odin kit, so my upgrade is your upgrade. I've got essentially everything needed to go Full Bolt On with E85 on a Gen 2 Coyote N/A car:
Ported '18 intake manifold with stock throttle body
PMAS Cold air intake
LU-47 injectors with stock fuel rails
Lund nGauge (currently...
I just installed the VMP Odin kit on my ‘16 GT, and it’s tuned by VMP. With 1 tune revision, the drivability and power are phenomenal. Joe and his team do a great job. *Nothing against Lund, PBD, or Wengerd.
I don't know that I'd call it thinking in an over-simplistic way, and it's definitely not a far out road you're going down, but it's not how the OEM's operate. They're shutting down whole plants on a staggered basis, based on what platform a given plant produces. Flat Rock Assembly produces the...
I got a manual because it's more fun to drive for me. Not because it's faster/slower or makes me a better/worse driver. I enjoy the additional layer of engagement, some people might not, all good. That's what it should be about with these types of cars, the fun of the driving experience. We...
