I’m going to adjust my throttle blade opening to see if that improves the condition.
The throttle body blade (87mm GM TB) has a home position at 30 degrees. This is where the blade is set when no loads are acting on it. It is held at that position by means of springs and mechanical stops.

I’m not sure it’s a good idea to
alter the throttle blade OEM home position.

Yes, that’s what I was referring to by changing the throttle blade home position. With no load on it (start button in accessory mode) mine read 26% before any adjustments. I zeroed it out by changing voltage settings with my nitrous controller. I’m just thinking of the process of elimination. Undoing what was done before I noticed the issue. I wish I had driven the car with the PMAS before zeroing out the TPS reading. Who knows, this issue may not have been a thing.

IIRC once you start messing with throttle angles you know throw the ignition timing out. Can't remember if it's up or down. Wanna say timing drops . So you need to readjust. I'm pretty sure that's why a lot of tuners can't tune the 87 mm in place of the 80 mm. Cause the throttle angles changed with the 87 mm. Now don't quote me on this haha.

Agreed.

I still would like to know PMAS’s secret sauce used to trick out their No-Tune MAF sensors.
I don’t know if you still have your MAF transfer function information handy for comparison, but here is the link that PMAS sent me today when they suggested I could try installing the factory MAF sensor and provide the tuner with transfer function info., so that it could be written into the tune.

That is essentially the PMAS “Tune Required” CAI. Which cost about $90.00 less.

Exactly. I started to buy that one, instead of the “no tune required” CAI, but decided against it, thinking it would eliminate any potential confusion with the tuner and also reduce down time, because tuners don’t always get right back to you. They can literally take days sometimes.

I guess if I have to live with a problem, I’d rather it be idle hang for a few seconds than low idle and stalling issues.

I find it hard to believe it's an issue with the pmas. The one on my car was previously on a Lund tuned car and run fine, granted it was a 2016. I originally installed it with a modified jlt air box and stock manifold. Idled fine and no warm start issues. Now running a GT350 mani and bullitt TB with no issues. I've been running the same MAF since day 1. I'm tuned by PBD though.

Were you running the tune required or no tune required version?

Torque-Based Tuning. Throttle position means everything.
I realize that timing is intertwined, & not quite true but I yield to your expertise as your far more knowledgeable than I.
