PMAS Intake (tune required) installation

Mine has been on for about a month, but I havent driven it too much since I've been out of town for work. The new metal design may be better for air flow, but probably retains heat more than the old plastic one. That could be why you're showing higher temps, no matter if your MAF is closer to the hood or in the airbox, while BMill705 and I have lower temps facing away from the hood.

No issues when washing and driving through a thunderstorm. I'm planning on getting a hydrophobic pre-filter in the coming weeks to be safe. This was recommended to me on here https://www.outerwears.com/proddetail.asp?prod=2128

yup, you def want that. without it the filter will be white in less than a month from rain or washing it

I’ll have to look at that filter. In the mean time I’m wondering if an enclosed box can be bought for the PMAS intake? Obviously that would prevent the water from coming in
