Has anyone had an issue with the alignment/fitment of the GT350 intake on the 2018+? I did this mod on my old 2016 car and don't remember such a big discrepancy.

Basically when I have the whole intake assembly in place, the end of the tube that goes onto the throttle body doesn't even come close to fitting over it...the angle is completely different and there is virtually no play in the intake (even with the accordion style tube) to be able to angle it down towards the throttle body.

If I take the assembly out and first put the tube over the throttle, the airbox then sits up in the air and doesn't have the give to be able to angle it towards it's spot on the fender.

I had this issue. An extra set of hands helping with alignment/pressure helped a little, but this was only enough to get it on only slightly better than what is shown in your picture. It was enough to get a seal and torque in place. After having it installed that way for a week or two, I was able to loosen it and get it completely mated, mostly by pulling the accordion part of the tube toward the front of the car while pushing the TB end of the tube onto the TB. It seems like it needed to “learn” the bend.

Hmm ok, that gives me a little hope.

I wonder if it has to do with the temperature as it was pretty cold in my garage when I was doing this. And maybe you driving it a few times heated up the plastic and loosened it or made it more plyable to be able to work it on.

that very well could be the case. It was in the 40s when mine was installed.

Is anyone successfully using an oil seperator with the new throttle body that doesn't get in the way? The end connection of the hose on a JLT 3.0 sits right on the sensor plug. Worried that might be an issue.

I was using a upr that sat by the windshield washer tank, but the hoses were so big and long. It was also leaking at one of the connections. Upr never got back to me.

From others looks like the Ford Performance doesn't work with it.

I have the JLT. I think I swapped the lines to move where the canister sits, haven’t had issues.

I just reversed the lines, but mine still sits on the plug. Instead of it resting on the end by the throttle body now it's on the end with the wires.

^^ I ended up wrapping those wires and black tape with some cool tape in that area too. I would have to check.

@NeedForGreen Check out my post and pics of it. Before is 1st pic and 2nd is after switching hoses. Does yours look the same? https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/ford-performance-tune-for-2018-gt.122943/post-2897275
Mostly. The right side of mine was putting more pressure on the outside wires then I would have liked after reversing the hoses. I then thought about my engine cover which I use.
I put it back the way it came. I just wrapped the metal clip with a small piece of foam I had left over with some tape. It's resting on the plug and against the throttle body, but not really any pressure. Should be OK.

Mine came in today from Levittown Ford, looking forward to installing it. Unfortunately will probably be at least a few weeks if not a month+ until it warms up enough.

One of the 2 Ford Performance models should work, no? I have the one for the Bullitt/GT350.

Your going to be happy with just don't have high expectations it's only a little more power but it's nice to have. I have the 10 speed so it really woke up the transmission.

Hi GeorgeC, I really have no complaints about my "stock" tune and how the A10 runs. Is this really enough better to get it and have it installed?
