There probably is, I'd have to remove it to see. What's the point of only buying the box? The maf housing is a different size than the the stock and would require a tune.
It would for making a modified pmas intake. If it properly seals to the hood, it would be perfect.

Here is what I have for the Bullitt intake system. Please double check it because this is what I found on the forums

Bullitt air intake parts
Intake tube KR3Z-9B659-A
Air box KR3Z-9600-A
They share the same intake tube but the air box is different. It's not a Bullitt air box. The bullitt air box also requires a tune. If you plan on getting an aftermarket tune do NOT get the bullitt air box, there's absolutely no gain over some of the larger CAI such as JLT and Roush and at $450-$600 why would you even do that?

I don't know if the one in this kit is sold separately, I know the bullitt air box can only be purchased as an assembly. The gt350 air box can be purchased separately but doesn't seal against GT hoods.

I was doin a bit of lookin last night and noticed something- all the magazines tested the Bullitt as slower or the same as a regular GT manual in acceleration tests. Anyone notice this? Motortrend even had the Bullitt slower than a manual Convertible! Really interested in seeing real world dyno’s and 1/4 mile tests with this kit.

Idea. For JLT 3.0 catch can switch the two hoses. There is a nut holding them. 1ft pic before, 2nd pic after. I am messing with it and see if it works out. Can put the thermal tape on the taped wires under catch can (2nd pic) theres tape already on wires..idk, but it probably wont fit if you are using your engine cover..still messing with it. I dont think it matters which hose is on which side. Anyone know?

The only thing that matters is the input and output direction of the can. You can do whatever you like with the hoses.

I also found if you take of the top portion of the CAI box that holds the filter and tube down (4 bolts), its easier to get a good seat and connection to the throttle body. Then tighten the clamp to the throttle body and put everything back together. And then bolt the box to the frame.

Yes made sure the baffling/filter part is still on left side. The JLT 3.0 logo is still facing the same way. Just changed the hoses. It tilts a little but if you change out regularly there probably wont be a problem.

Me too! Good to have as much of an apples to apples comparison as possible. Appreciate your feedback!
Got out this morning and it’s 93, so even better! Haven’t bought in 2 months, easy to forgot haha

I need a reason to leave the house.. I hope that it’s not a placebo and I’m misleading everyone. I plan to check it out a little closer the next time I’m out. I was in sport plus mode the whole time which could make a difference. Anyone else out there with an M6 and the tune please confirm or deny, I’m curious.
I didn’t initially notice it the last few times that I took the car out. However, after reading these observations, I did take her out for a spin. I agree that the rev match is more of a blip as opposed to having RPMs just hanging. I couldn’t tell you the actual amount of hang, but enough to be noticeable when focusing in on it.

Took another drive around the city this morning. In both normal and sport, I didn’t notice any rev hanging on clutch in. I tried out quick shifting and more normal driving shifts. Revs drop more predictably and shifting is smoother because of it. Overall it just seems to be better than before the tune and I don’t think it’s a placebo.

The computer will still hold revs from dropping too far, which I’ve never been bothered by. I wasn’t looking for this last time but it’s still there.

Otherwise my comments on power are the same. It’s a good, easy DD tune that fills in some of the torque that people have been missing compared to larger displacement V8’s.

I noticed you have a 19 which has the actual rev match feature, which makes me curious how that changes things. Are you taking about down or upshifts? And before or after this tune? My observations are about up shifting just to be clear.

I was commenting about downshifting, and it appears that the rev match does not hang, but is more of a blip after the tune. Sorry for the confusion. However, I do recall the revs hanging if I push the clutch in on the 19. Come to think of it, I also hate that the cruise control won't disengage with the clutch is pushed in like on my 15. When I get home, I will take her out and look at the hanging rpm when upshifting. I have been having too much fun power shifting to notice on previous drives!

I just had a run in with an f150 raptor merging onto an on ramp (from a stop light). I'm not sure if the powerpack was worth much here but I had it from the get go. I backed off for the loop turn and he was able to catch up. The driver got right on my bumper. I punched it when the loop ended (was in third around 50 mph) and put about 3 car lengths between us before the on ramp section ended.
