I’ve always been a fan of James Carville. Brings a lot of common sense to his thoughts. I agree with him on Bernie. Increasing the numbers of voters doesn’t guarantee anything. Hell, Hillary won the popular vote, and lost the election.

It does when last time neither candidate won a majority of the voting population. If 'did not vote' was a candidate they would have won in a landslide.

As an independent this has crossed my mind. At this point I do not know what I will do. Hoping Bernie doesn’t win the nomination so I do not have to make this decision.

What do you think about the democrat caucus system? My wife was completely turned off by it. I think the system where you have to discuss/argue with people rather than just being able to privately cast a vote for who you want gives the radicals too much control.

I think a lot of people like you and my wife want a sensible, middle ground democrat rather than people who are so far left. However, the caucuses make it difficult for people like you to get what they want.

I think the caucus system is archaic and 2020 will hopefully be the last of it. I’m with your wife but the choices are slim. Bernie and Liz are way too far out there for me. I like Pete and Amy but neither one of them is electable. Then you have the billionaires, Mike and Tom. Both have the smarts but historically owners do not make very good employees. So that leaves Joe. Has his time passed? He’s never been a good national candidate and hasn’t really shined in any of the debates. That said, with all of his foibles I think I’m going to give him a shot when I vote on Saturday. I guess we’ll see.

I like Tulsi. Definitely has some interesting ideas. That said, she is not electable. Let’s not forget that a Mike is a closet Democrat. I had already left NY when he ran but I would have voted for him as a Republican as I did Rudy. He just doesn’t have a very good likability factor for a national election.

How about Tulsi Gabbard. I think she would make a good moderate Republican.

I like Tulsi just because I've seen the MSM go after her. I see it as a big point in her favor. I don't like her politics but I think she seems like she has a conscience. I trust her not to do anything crazy that would really damage our country.
