Well, Biden is taking his victory laps. Tuesday will be an indicator of what's to come. I want to say Bloomberg is fading, but his team is just now taking the field.

Today is the day! Looks like the DNC establishment is getting behind Biden. Listened to the first half of the Bloomberg town hall last night. What a snooze fest.

Yep, with Pete and Amy dropping out sure looks like they are trying to make it be Biden

No great surprise there. Bernie’s got a good heart but his agenda is just to far out there. If there is going to be a legitimate contender for a Trump it is going to be Biden. We need the middle. We need to have someone with a track record of working both sides of the aisle. Congress is a mess. Joe may be sleepy but he can work with Democrats and Republicans.

It's just been noted that Trump is now the youngest candidate running for POTUS.

So, does it seem Joe Biden just traded the Vice President slot for Buttigeg's delegates?

Don’t think so. Pete’s a good guy. He certainly has the youth factor the Joe will need in his VP. That said I do not think America is quite ready for a gay man in that position. Personally could care less but many others may not feel the same way. My bet would be on a woman. Maybe Amy but it very well could be Kamala. She hasn’t endorsed anyone yet so no deals were made for today’s primaries.

seemed suspicious that Buttigeg would drop out just before Super tuesday, besides Joe and Crazy Bernie, he was the only one to have any delegates on his plate. He could have made a race of it yet. especially with Joe's expected flameout.

There are two reasons for a candidate to pull out. One is seeing a clear path to victory and the second is money. Pete couldn’t see the first and didn’t have the second. Warren will be the next to go. Bloomberg got in because he didn’t see Biden as a viable candidate. Hopefully that will change after today’s votes are counted. Then it becomes a battle between two old men. We’ll see.

I have read that Buttigeg was very well funded, Warren complained enough about his super Pacs. We will see, seems suspicious if you have gone this far to stop just when the real delegate counts are about to start. New Hampshire and Iowa have always been outliers and have rarely predicted who gets the nod. Klobuchar has always been a lost cause, i am surprised she made it this far(probably dipping into Senate connections for $$).

Pete “did” have money. SC changed all that. Pete saw the writing in the wall. He also has a bright future ahead of him. No sense risking that to become an outlier.

I never thought he would have made it this far but seems like an odd day to quit, everything is ready to roll for super Tuesday, I smell back room dealings to derail Crazy Bernie.

That was my thinking as well. Pete and Amy being good young soldiers for the DNC.

Well look at this this way.

1. Trump wins - Democrat's lose and he's gone in four years.
2. Bernie wins - We all lose and it could be for eight years.

Much like the Republicans all fell in line with Trump, the Democrats will need to do so for Biden.
