So, how about that debate last night? Time to put a fork in Bloomberg? The next 7 days will be interesting.
Yeah, it was a shit show, lmao. Warren had quite a few good jabs at mike tho. As expected, the moderators were absolute garbage.

Also, stocks lost 4 trillion in a week, I believe you're underestimating how bad things could get under a Republican or a Dem.

Never worked in the private sector, don't need to nor do I care, I enjoy serving my country. I did more than enough competing and producing while I was in the military but I'm not going to downplay what anyone else has done in the private sector, we each do a different job and serve a different purpose.
Makes sense why you are lining up to be a Bernie Brown Shirt. Suckling at the .gov teat from cradle to grave.
A common tactic of the right to attack people that clearly have the moral high ground (a frequent occurrence), Bernie has shown his taxes and worked hard as a senator to have a net worth of 2.5mil (lol so wealthy) and yet still talks about income inequality.
Oh, please, list those accomplishments.
You can't win with people this ignorant and dense. Start and end with a premise of malice, my god.
I have learned that in my debate with you.

Stocks are down because of the virus panicking the world. Fewer flights, fewer people eating, buying things, especially in overseas markets. A drop in the bucket if Bernie is elected. Tons of cash will leave US banks.

Explain to me how insane amounts of income inequality, high levels of corporate debt, high levels of household debt, overly centralized manufacturing, decades of crazy low interest rates, and an uncheck bull market, are good for the economy and aren't going to cause a coming recession. The economy is a tinderbox waiting for a match.

Global slowdown and companies already struggling to pay down their debt, smells like bankruptcy.

OK, another Nazi reference? Come on Doc, over 10 million died at their hands. They have no place on this forum. Please, please refrain from referencing them.

And by the way one of the main reasons some folks are flocking to Bernie is the exact same reason people flocked to Trump. For Trump it was for change from the dregs of Washington DC. For Bernie it's change from the dregs of the wealthy. There is always a reason a person shifts to the extremes. When the folks in the middle cannot get shit done people start moving out towards the edges.

Already blocked Doc for being close to the most ignorant person I've ever had the unfortunate experience talking to. True, people have flocked to both as they provide something that isn't typical Washington establishment, however, I disagree that Bernie is an extreme as in every other developed and prosperous nation he is hardly that left. Bernie is just trying to bring us into the 20th century where everyone actually has human rights.

The one thing that everyone agreed to last night is that if the Democrats continue to attack each other Trump will have an easy path to another four years. Then spent two hours doing exactly that. Brilliant!! My problem is that the middle seems hopeless. Biden did well last night. If he wins in SC, maybe, just maybe he still has a chance. I like Amy and Pete but honestly do not see either of them beating Bernie.

And I agree with George. The stock market is reacting to the Coronavirus. We have a great "surface" economy boosted by a strong stock market. If the market continues to slide, the rest of the economy will be right behind it. Why do you think Trump is telling anyone who will listen the the Coronavirus is no big deal and that we have it covered (we don't)?

Wasn't my idea to call them that, came from Chuck Todd at MSNBC, when you start talking about reeducation camps for Republicans and threatening union workers who don't support you people are gonna talk. If the shirt fits (literally) you wear it. Instead of villifying the wealthy why not try to copy them. True Americans try to bring everyone up out of poverty and misery, give everyone a fair shot at a good life, give everyone the opportunity to be successful not bring every one down into poverty so there is no "income inequality". Much like banning expensive cars, if every one can't afford them no one should have one. The ban automatically excludes every electric green vehicle out there, so helping climate change has gone out the window.

I want every American to be a success and be wealthy, we have the best standard of living ever recorded in history and it is there for the taking for anybody that wants to work hard and reach for success. Liberals only want to tear down and make it so no one can succeed, thats the backbone of socialism. People prove that they can make something of themselves every day, every day young people come out of inner city quagmires and become successful professionals and they can do it without government help. I see very successful minorities all the time, no one looks down on them because they are a minority or are gay or whatever, real people don't care.

Doesn't matter whose idea it was. I'm asking you politely to not reference in anyway a group of animals who were responsible for the genocide of over 10 million people. There is just no place for this level of hated on this forum.

It's the nearest best comparison, unfortunately. This guy who is leading in the Democrat nomination process took his honeymoon in the USSR and praised Casto last week. Castro killed and jailed his opposition. It was a lot fewer than Hitler killed, but the population of Cuba is also small.

Trump is not for the wealthy. Why lie like this? He's benefiting people who didn't have jobs under Obama the most. Not only are there many more of those people employed (record numbers), but also their wages are growing much faster than before. So please at least be truthful and honest. You can disagree and not care about the poor, but don't try to say that the poor will be better off with someone who will cause their jobs to go away.

And there are no conservative extremes any more. That is just as bad a falsehood as your other statements. Trump is very liberal. He's not getting rid of income tax. He's not getting rid of social security. None of that. He's a big spender. Bigger than many past Democrats.

I'm more fearful than anything. I am paying attention to what these people say they want to do. They say they want to burn cities if Trump wins. They say that Soviet gulags were pretty good and they want to create something like that to throw all republicans in.

For you, I will not do that again. Not for Bernie, but for you.

You're so inept and full of shit, my god. He praised the start of a revolution against a dictator. The Cuban revolution that overthrew the Batista regime, not the polices of the Castro regime that came afterwards. You literally have no clue what you're talking about with anything. You call SS a Ponzi, you call Bernie a socialist and a good comparison to a Nazi (lol what is fascism?), you claim Trump is not for the wealthy but continues to give them tax breaks that they haven't even come close to paying back (1trillion lost), how much more can you lie threw your teeth?

Because I've been literally saying this for months. We have exhausted all economic stimulus for when a depression hits. You do not go on a bull run forever. The market is extremely vulnerable right now because of this propped up bull run. There will always be some catalyst event that kicks off the correction and people that do not know how the economy works will say 'oh well thats the straw that broke the camels back.' There are warning signs and a lot has to go wrong for us to dip into a recession and that all falls of terrible economics as a whole not just a black swan event.

We've been on sustained growth since our last recession when most other international markets have been stagnating, we've been poised for this for like a year. The longer this has gone on the more susceptible we've become to events of volatility such as the corona virus.
